Funny, my RXT TWIN DISC starts to release all the way to the floor too. Funny how the results vary from top of the pedal releasing to the bottom releasing. Mine is also a little chattery too at idle, from what I hear normal for a Twin disc. Hold powder and engages well, minus having to step on the clutch pedal all the way to floor to fully engage the clutch. I was starting to think I installed the disc upside down, or incorrectly.

Seems like the RXT’ do that but haven’t heard much about that from the RST’. Interesting

The RST in my Boss definitely engages at the top, which was annoying when jumping into the car when I hadn't driven it in a while. And it could make taking off from a stop on a hill a little tricky. But the problem has been solved completely by the Maximum Motorsports adjustable clutch pedal stop I had installed. You still have the slight twin disc chatter if you don't give it a few revs leaving a light but driving the car around town has been improved so dramatically there is now no complaint whatsoever about the RST. Before installing the MM pedal stop, the several inches of clutch pedal free travel off the floor combined with the slightly shuddery nature of the RST was awkward but now that free travel is gone. The clutch engages just slightly off the pedal stop.
