Hey all. Looking into a new blower just looking to get a few ideas on what to buy in the process. I am going toward the whipple 2.3 or vmp 2.6. That being said im told to go with a Fore return style system with just not sure what one to get L3-L4? FPR before the rail or after. And also what injectors to run. Have a SCT maf and plan to get the high boost intake kit also. Id be doing most of the work myself and would like the most "drop in" friendly things to buy.

2.3/2.65 VMP over 2.3 whipple. If you’re in the 2.9 size the, Whipple over VMP. Then again that removable elbow is worth weight in gold so it better be a gen 4 2.9 over the VMP unit and you better spin it properly on the corn sauce too. The 2.3 TVS is a mean little unit and you won’t be disappointed with whatever blower you get. Anything’s better than the heaton.

Looking for 600+ on pump. Would like the E85 option down the road maybe tho.

Then I would take a hard look at the 2.3 or 2.65 tvs. You'll make 600 rw on pump easily. Then later on if you want to switch to e85 just remove the elbow and install bigger injectors.

Id go 2.3 tvs if e85 isn't in the immediate future. Any blower bigger than that will just feel weak on gas.

You'll have to look for a used one. Only the 2.65 is available new for our cars.

I googled that and got Worx blowers. And if that's what it's supposed to be, I got a good laugh out of it.

lol I was breakin balls. The works blower was supposed to come out the same time as the gen 1 2.3 whipple blower. First ever whipple. so this goes back years ago. so for the longest time ,all we kept hearing on the forums was the works blower, works blower, works blower. two weeks. two weeks. we were all waiting and the blower never came out. Not sure what happened. Now it became a joke with all the OG cobra owners lol.

If it’s brand new AND you got the IDs to go with it, I’d say you got a great deal considering you can’t buy a new one. You’ll love the TVS unit. It’s a mean little blower! Congrats!

Ya man that’s a mean combo. You can come real close to maxing the stock engine with the 2.3 TVS on E85.

For fuel I did the Fore Level 1E with 465s. If you can wire save $300 on the “controller” and run 2 $7 relays. My whole setup cost like 1200.

I’m deadhead currently. 20/21 PSi ona 2.9 and E85. Drives like stock.
