Hello SVT looking for help on what Alt and what fuel pumps to replace old parts with. This is my Second time on the dyno and cant ever finish a full test. Last time it was the coils and possible bad gap on plugs. Now on second run after more mods now Alt goes out and pumps on test was at 100% duty. Tech had to pull off at about 3500 rpm due to that and only got 395 hp :( and 465 tq. I need help to fix this and finally get her tuned right.

We need to know the set up to recommend pumps. I'm currently running a rebuilt stock alternator. But it was upgraded to 160amp.

If you're going to be staying at this level for a while I would drop in a pair of GT pumps and call it a day.

What about having to run double FPDM to make sure they work on GT Pumps.......or what about DeatschWerks 340 LPH pumps with potential to go E85 in future.

I've been running GT pumps on a stock FPDM with a wire upgrade since 2006. Granted they are the older GT pumps, but I would think the newer pumps run better.

If you're wanting bigger pumps drop the coin on an aftermarket hat. I put AEM 320's in a stock hat and it was a pain.

So wire upgrade? Ok will read more into the GT pumps then. What about Alternator and advice on that or just buy a new stock? Or go and pay a few more dollars and go PA Performance.

You can't get a new stock alternator...only remans that are junk. And PA is junk. Either go Nations, J2 or Miley 3G unless you have a reputable shop that can rebuild yours.

I'd look for a local shop. But then I have a good shop with a hook up so it doesn't kill me on price.

Dealership said they did for $210. I am assuming for would only sell Ford OEM. They said part available. So if OEM Ford part should I get the OEM Ford part?
