Okay. The options are not absolute or independent of each other. The lowest number only tells you how many of a particular color has a particular option. Because the vehicles have multiple options, chassis and colors the spreadsheet could never tell you how many of a particular option vehicle was produced.

Ford knows I am sure but doesn’t tell us. Thankful, apparently this Marti report does. Norton, 1Alibi2 and 50stangpower couldn’t explain it any clearer. Why it so hard to understand or even a point of contention is beyond me.

You just proved why the funnel down method works. The lowest number of all your options listed is how many are like yours. This is the only reason Ford made this spreadsheet... Same as every other company identified their model mix. I use this same type of table for how my products at work are optioned. Take some time to think through the table and what it tells you. As soon as I get back to my work computer, I will provide numbers for whoever wants them.

I just proved why the funnel down doesn’t always work if you would read my response completely and with a clear/open mind. The spreadsheet was the closest any of us could get to knowing how many our specifically option vehicles were produced in a particular year. That is until the Marti report came out.

Look, if you don’t want a report don’t get one but don’t spread your misinformation here. The lowest number on the spreadsheet may or may not be right to determine how many exactly built like mine. The spreadsheet will never tell you with certainty the how many exactly built like mine number is. Unless your work computer is at Ford or Marti, you can’t either.

I have the only white with blue striped glass back 13 without nav in existence. You cant see that in the spread sheet. The funnel down effect is not anything that works for a vin specific break down. The spread sheet is just a pool of how many order codes got added to either verts or coupes, sorted by color. That's it, noting more. It's not a comparison of other option codes IE shaker, PP, Nav etc, to other option codes.

You're not seeing the forest for the trees. (Most of us realize that's because the answer isn't in Ford's spreadsheet.)

I look forward to your "simple" answer of how many cars were produced in an IDENTICAL configuration to mine...

No worries - everyone that wants to know how many were made like there's, just let me know. I need the complete configuration of the car and I can give you a 100% guaranteed number for cars like yours. The Ford sheet doesn't like. it is exact.

Lol ok. I have a candy red 13 with white stripes. Glass roof, pp tp, shaker, and recaros. Only missing option is nav. Now I know how to read the ford spreadsheet, as I'm not a retard but go ahead an enlighten me.

My car is a ‘13!Base, Grabber Blue with Stripe Delete, and Recaros.

332 were Grabber Blue, 289 were Coupes, 179 had Recaros, 36 were Base cars, and 18 were stripe delete.

That doesn’t make my car 1 of 18 perfectly identical.

The chart doesn’t put options together to create any way to determine exclusivity.

These OG lately. @Tob should love this inductive reasoning.

I've learned to not care anymore. Not because I chose it to be that way but it is what it is. I'm glad to see others take pride in scarcity and data but at this point, for me anyway, it's just engineered hardware and almost always compromised.

His system doesn't / won't work, not so much because of the options my car has, but because of those it doesn't, which impact EVERYTHING.
....................................2014
600 SGM coupes
553 chose the ( 67F ) option, - SVTPP package, so your pool of cars MAYBE like mine is already reduced to 47 !!

His system doesn't work because that's not how Ford designed/populated the data sheets. The numbers listed only tell how many of a particular MY and color coupe/vert have each specific option, independent of all other options. They do not account for all possible combinations of options (or lack thereof), which is what Marti is paid to do.

No problem - back in the office on Friday.

I am not sure what all the fuss is over this topic. It really is very simple and easy to use Ford's spreadsheet - i use and make these daily. I just want to help people. I am surprised at the amount of closed mindedness here about this. Think it through - the spreadsheet works.

Obviously there are 21 cars optioned exactly like yours.

Don’t worry if its a 4 option car that funnels down to 21, it’s the exact same as a 3 option car that funnels down to the exact same “21” option car.

Jesus...

I think you mean well, but don't understand combinatorics and/or what Ford's data sheets do (not) provide.

I look forward to your analysis after you get back in the office, and will be happy to admit if my assessment here is in error.
