I have a Rekluse in my 2016 KX450f right now for single track. Having that Rekluse with the power of a 450 is a blast! And i know a KX isn't ideal for single track, but I like being able to hit the MX track also (although I haven't used the Rekluse while riding mx yet). Surprisingly, the KX is very manageable in tight wooded areas with it being a norrow bike, plus the combination of the Rekluse, softening up the suspension and the bike being fuel injected.
I have a 2010, she's a freak.

How did you like the 250F? I have been wanting to get a 4 stroke bike for awhile and was just going to go 450, but have been giving the 250 some consideration. I plan on keeping my CR 125R, it just too much fun to part with.
My 16 yr old has a 13 and it is nice. Fun to play around on, does everything pretty well. Low on power for me but everyone is different.

If you like high revving, linear power the 250f will be just fine. It is definitely going to have more power everywhere vs your cr125.

Good plan to keep you cr125, they are really hard to beat in the fun department!

They are indeed a lot of fun and I can throw it around with ease. I have gotten hooked on my buddies YFZ 450R/quad, powering out of turns is addicting on that machine! Admittedly that much motor, 450 in a dirt bike would be a big step up from my little thumper.

Regret selling my old 2005 CR250. Had the bike since new and sold it way too cheap but the market was not where it is today. I'll have another!

Feeling nostalgic today... never really thought this would happen but have to give some back story.

Back in 2005, my dad helped me buy a brand spankin’ new CR250 (I was only 14 at the time and working for him as a landscaper).
I built, raced and meticulously maintained that bike until late 2011 when I decided to trade it for a street bike. Knew it was a mistake almost instantly and tried to keep tabs on the bike as it changed hands a few times.

Last night, a good friend recognized it on Facebook marketplace. Definitely rough compared to when I owned it, but had all of the same modifications and I knew I had to chase it down. Brought it home today and am extremely excited bring it back to perfection. Highly doubt I will be selling this bike again.

First pic is me sitting on the bike after a fresh build back in ~2008. Next is the day I traded it back in 2011, and the final pics is from today (somehow my front number plate remained with the bike all of these years).

honestly man I like KTM the best. I have a KTM 250sxf . It's not as fast as the YZ. But **** it seems so light and agile I can flick it around any corner. IMO KTM makes the best product available.

My buddy just dumped his brand new Yamaha 450.
5 drives, 5 hours.
Said it was too heavy in tight woods and throttle was like a switch.
Will go to a 250 2s

Pretty much my same story. I got a crf450 and eventually went back to a 250 2s (cr250). The 450 is way, and I mean way, faster and easier to ride at speed. But, the cr250 is so much more fun. I kept the 450, because from time to time it's a blast to ride. You can be so lazy on that bike and still pull through a lot of crap.

250 2T is the definition of the throttle being on/off unless hes going to a tpi ktm/husky

Thanks brother! I am very pumped, it's a great feeling and I can't wait to tear it apart.
Sucks that the bike was neglected a bit my some other owners... kind of like recycling an old girlfriend lol!
