Front Tires Suggestions

I'm ready to purchase a new set of tires. For the rear I'm thinking 305/35 R888r's but for the fronts I don't know what brand to get. The car is just a fun street car and will most likely never see the track. R888r's may be over kill but I'm not sure what tires to get on the front.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Why not get a full matching set? When it's time for tires I'm planning on R888R's all eve way around.

I could. These tires are way more grip than I need in the rear and I figured they'd be way overkill all the way around but maybe I will.

Nitto is always a good choice for fronts. Go with Invos if you have the coin or NT555 if you want something basic.

I'm one of those that need a matching set of tires. I have 555R's in the rear and 555's up front and that's about as far I normally get from matching tread. A lot of people seem to like the Nitto G2's, but I wasn't a fan. You might have better luck. As mentioned Continentals also seem well liked.

I just went through this myself and decided on some Kumho ecsta ps91's for the front of mine in 275-35-18. I'm running M/T ET streets in 305-35-18 out back. Same deal here, my car is 100% a nice day cruiser that sees no track duty. I just wanted an economical summer tire that was quiet and had good overall performance in all categories (as listed by tire rack). Thought about doing the M/T street tire they offer now so I'd have a matching set, but during my research, I didn't feel the reviews were all that great for what they wanted for the tire ($20x.xx ea.). Decided for what I use the car for, a matching set wouldn't matter as I probably would never be able to tell a difference anyways. Looked at nitto and they were fairly expensive as well. Seemed these Kumhos were a great value at $135 ea.

I have ECS's on front of Cobra, and all around on my 16' 3.7
Great tire, I choose em over Michelin for the $

I went with Toyo proxes sports for the front and R888's in the back.

So I went to order my tires from Tirerack and was told the R888r's are probably about 4 weeks out from shipping as there aren't even any in the country.

Is there a comparable tire to these?

Edit: I had Discount Tire call Toyo and they said they're more like 8-10 weeks out. lol

I went ahead and ordered NT01's since my options were limited.
