Yes,
The 2020 GT500 will be a superior car to the 13-14 GT500's, but there will be things about the 13-14 that will always stand out.
Last car that Mr. Shelby had input and put his hands on in the Pre Production cars.
5.8 engine was made only for 2 years and for the 13-14 GT500 only.
The 13 was the 20 year Anniversary of SVT.
And the 662/631 stock HP/TQ is so easily increased for not much money.
And still looks very menacing.
And from what I have seen from Power by the Hour, with just a Auto swap, and basic add on"s, tune, it can be a 10.1, 1/4 mile car. That's impressive.

Is the Glass Roof option available for the 2020? If not, that is also an added desirable feature that was available for 2011-2014 only and specifically could be added to the things you have outlined above.

My thoughts....When then the '13 came out....it was a "Holy Shit" moment. It was the baddest boy on the block. We have had 6 years for Ford to bring forth a beast.
And they did.The '20 GT500 is better in every way than the '13.
Every way.

But did you say "Holy Shit" when they unveiled the '20?

I think that Ford has priced the 2020 so far out of reach from even those that bought a ‘14 new. In my opinion this has offset any advancements or improvements over the ‘14. For this reason the trinity will remain in demand.

The question remains if people want to spend $45k on a used ‘13-14 or $75k on a new ‘20.

Why not? MSRP is doable. I’m not wanting first year anyway.

I feel like most dealers are always going to be asking a mark ups, especially were I live. If I get one I'll be buying it from a private owner.

Are you getting one from Nick when you’re ready to buy, J?

Pick your poison.
That is the plan at this point yes.
I haven’t talked seriously to local dealers yet but several months ago a local sales guy I know said they’d do a second year car at MSRP.
I personally don’t see ADM sticking for non-CF cars after the first year.
Those limited CF Track pack cars will always be harder to get.

I know when I first saw a picture of the new 2020 GT500, I did not say Holy Shit as I think we knew it would be like a GT350 on Steroids, so we were ready.
The power and features on the 13, when it came out, I did say holy F#@king Shit.
it was a hugh advance in power, speed, adjustable Bilsteins, carbon fiber drive shaft. all though, some people will say, not that much different then before.
Mr. Shelby used to say he was building performance cars for the working man.
I must need a better job, as with the 2020, they are getting beyond alot of working man's affordability.

everyone said holy shit back in 13 because there were no Demons, Hellcats, ZL1's ( well, good ZL1's anyways) or Redeyes. Trinity was the first of its kind.

question, could you get a Trinity for msrp in 2013? Everyone is crying that you cant get a 2020 at MSRP but I remember when the 07 GT500 came out and was selling for around $70k....in 07 lol.

+1 to all of this.

+1 to your first point.

As for ADM vs MSRP... Now, as in 2012 (when I took delivery of my 2013), new ones CAN be found for MSRP, but it takes time and effort to find decent dealers. I spent the time/effort then because I really wanted the car. While the new one's capabilities are likely to be impressive, I have no desire for one for a few reasons - S550 styling, no stick and only two pedals, and price.

The torch keeps getting passed on. In 03, I remember buying my cobra, everyone was going crazy for one. The impact the 03 cobra made when it came out was insane. Another mustang comes out, it takes the spot light and is the best mustang built. It is what it is. Nothing or anybody stays on top.
