For once the guy behind the camera does not yell like a nut, shakes the camera or adds stupid background music! Lucky bastard also!

Professional storm chasers can learn from this and stay quiet when they film the twister!

Finally? It's six years old! LOL

Good video though, haven't seen this one despite my fascination with tornadoes. This video is good for the same reason 1320's videos are good. No/minimal unnecessary chatter and the recorder doesn't go full Michael J. Fox when things get good.

Lol I know. It somehow popped up on a feed. Can't believe I've never seen it.

Here are two other good ones.

The second one the guy does gets excited but I'll give him a pass since it's kind of funny and he sounds like Tom Arnold.

The one where the guy's wife got killed he had time to get in a car and leave. That was to big and headed right for him and he just films it. I know they say take cover but i would have be in the car and gone on that one.

I think some of you would be surprised how many people die because they see a tornado and think, 'gee, it's not moving, it's just sitting there.'

Tornadoes don't just sit. If it isn't discernibly moving away from you, and it looks like it's sitting idle, it's coming FOR you. Seek shelter.

I watched that tornado from about 7 miles off. It was UNREAL to see in person. I absolutely love tornadoes and chase them when I can, and I never want to see an F5 again.

Josie needed to get her shiz together and get out of the house.

Tornadoes are scary. Anything that can come out of nowhere in the dark and rip your house apart is frightening to me.

I can't fathom a pitch black night and hearing an F5 tornado is closing in. Hearing the roar of monster in pitch black skies.....NOOOOO! Like Brad said, a hurricane is bad. A tornado like that one is pure horror if you're in its path.

This looks like the same tornado that hit Josie and her father. Incredible footage the guy just would not stop filming.

Edit: Yes checked again it was the same one. More than one person filmed this tornado.

"Here is what my oldest daughter Josie Taylor Wells And I experienced, I am so glad Kerry Gorman Wells and the other girls were out of town when this storm came through. Very thankful we were not injured. This video was taken by Marc Wells all copy writes are owned by Marc Wells, use is unauthorized without permission."

Good footage of recent twister in China...

https://www.washingtonpost.com/weat...buildings-killing-six/?utm_term=.837bf9b0f240

"Terrifying eyewitness video captured the moments the tornado swirled across a roadway, the circulation appearing to pass over the videographer’s vehicle. Large storage containers are seen being drawn into the vortex, the atmospheric sink drain yanking trees out of the ground. If one watches closely, it’s possible to spot the trees leaning right, then left as the wind switches direction beneath the funnel’s powerful rotation."

I lived through this back in the 80's, I can only think about Musclefan21 dealing with these conditions as an officer, he lived here and Rockford but where it all started was 200 yards away from where I live. sorry I had to fix

I don't think I would sit around a record with a Tornado like that near me. But it is definitely crazy to watch!
