I've sold some of mine at MSRP, then some at $1k over, because I had to buy the allocations.

Dealers are beginning to buy from other dealers for $2,500-10,000 over MSRP. Which will be passed on.

When the 2016 GT350s hit the ground, I sold 3 to other dealers at $12k, $13k and $15k over MSRP (ignorance at it's finest).

$5-10k over is going to be the norm.

EDIT: GT350Rs were bringing $50k OVER MSRP in 2016.

Selling yours to other dealers with huge mark ups does nothing but hurt other customers. It's exactly that type of dealer behavior that encourages other dealers to mark them up. This is why people think bad of most Ford dealers.

I'm hoping at least 3 or 4 show up about the same time so I can get some professional photos shot.

If one of those is mine, and you don't mind a lowly 350 in some of those pictures, that'd be cool!

If you buy a widget for $200, and someone offers you $500 for said widget, what would your response be?

They weren't advertised for sale to dealers, they contacted me. If someone came and offered you 25% more for your house than what its worth, would you say no?

No.

Get the **** out of here with your bullshit. Me hurting consumers? Yeah. That's what I do.

Of course!

If someone comes asking to buy what you're selling at above MSRP you're a moron if you don't.

If he kept them in the corner advertising them to other dealers I might feel differently but given Nick's history here I tend to believe that's not how it happened.

These were dealers that obviously had buyers at higher markups already. Otherwise they wouldn't have offered to buy

Actually, they all went to the same dealer in Colorado (they'll remain nameless)... but they sat on their lot for almost 120 days with a $20k ADM.

Honestly, I think they fell for the window sticker and thought they were GT350Rs... since the "GT350" is a registered trademark and has the "R" stamp on it haha

I think I first talked to Nick about a GT500 a couple of years ago. He had just purchased my GT350 sight unseen. He wired the money in a heartbeat and a trailer rolled up to my house in no time. I asked him if he'd take a deposit on the 500 and he declined as nobody knew where this program was going. Fast forward to now and he honored an agreement we did come to for msrp.

I have never met anyone at the dealer level that has been more courteous or prompt. He has answered all my questions without hesitation. I'm used to being treated poorly at the consumer level so this is new to me. And what he did for the other guys by securing allocations from other dealers early on in the program for minimal profit - priceless. He's kicking the shit out of far larger dealers and for a rather small margin

To imply that he is somehow part of the ADM bomb - get the **** out of here indeed. That's insulting and as ignorant as it gets.

Thanks Tob, I appreciate the kind words.

Not to mention I can't wait to discuss life over dinner in a few months.
