There's a ton of videos from these events, but this is hands down the best race I've ever seen. Dude in the C10 is a driver for sure.

gonna be hard to write the insurance check on that Mustang... ouch

Yep. Would probably fall under insurance fraud at that point, judging by the driver's reaction. I wonder if that was even his car.

"Never race something you aren't willing to wreck."

That AWD Silverado SS in the first video is unbeatable.

Right? It's almost a given win when you see that Silverado in these races.

These guys are stupid for racing their cars like that. Go buy a piece of crap, trailer it to the track and have your fun. You risk your ride you accept the repercussions.

It's really no different than drag racing at a track. You never know when the guy beside you might lose control or the car before you laid something down the track that wasn't caught. It's a risk you knowingly take, but it doesn't make it any less stressful when it actually happens.

Edit: I will say that this opens the door to potential damage more than drag racing.

I agree with your point, but your last statement was my point. When you add several other cars, turns and NO designated lane it becomes "more" of a risk than drag racing.

I have drag raced my cars for many years and never had an issue. Yes, the risk is there and I take that risk. However, I believe that risk is minimal compared to the risk those guys in those videos above are taking.

These were always decently entertaining when I used to go to the circle track. There was a guy in a CCLB duramax that was pretty much unbeatable. He could carry so much speed through the turns, it didn't really make a lot of sense.

I remember watching a new (back then) C6 stuff it coming out of turn 4. He told the crowd it wasn't even his car but he was asked to drive it and the owner probably wouldn't care.

I recall seeing that Corvette, or at least a Corvette, eat shit coming out of turn two entering the backstretch. His competitor stopped to check on him and offer his well wishes I think. I also remember seeing a CCLB Duramax (gray, I think) in some of these races. I think once that Silverado SS showed up, he mostly quit competing. Nobody can touch that fool.

I will once I win the lottery and show up in my P100D. LMAO

Figured I'd just post this here instead of unnecessarily creating another thread. Dude in the Blazer would've been eating his next meal through a straw. IDGAF what liability waiver you sign or the inherent risk of participating in these races, this is different and completely uncalled for. This was uploaded in 2009 and that's a 2007 Jeep SRT-8.

That is a guaranteed way to receive a beating.
