Vortech Oil drain question

Im going to describe this as best as possible. On the oil drain tube there is the female fitting that taps into the oil pan. Then the male fitting that is connected to the 90* tube screws into that. Is there anywhere I can buy just that female fitting? I really don't want to spend $50 on a new drain unit when I have everything except that female fitting....

I'm sure you can. Call Vortech and see if they sell just the fitting you need. If not, ask for the size and buy it online or at a specialized store.

I called Vortech and surprise! Can't help me. So is this a fitting I can get at a parts store? Anyone have any idea what I should ask for? Again, I really hate buying the whole oil drain when all I need is the female fitting that goes into the oil pan.

Can't you just get a brass fitting from any hardware store and tap it to that size?

My pan already had a fitting but I don't think they're anything more than a brass npt fitting
