I was wondering if it was Danville, VA.

If so, was your friend's family in the textile business, i.e. the old Dan River Mills? Either that or your friend's family hosted Jeff Davis and folks on the way out of VA. Perhaps J Davis left him some of that gold as a thanks, and portions of it have been invested in large automobile collection.

Yeah we talked about that yesterday. We are hoping we can get one of the first ones that roll out. Most of his newer cars like that are under a 100 miles. I drive them around when we first get them.... you know just.to make sure they work right

You are a true, good friend for doing the test drives. ;-)

One of the cars had Redwood City CA decals. Its probably in Danville CA. One of the richest areas in the East Bay Area.

Ahh the Chrysler was originally sold from Redwood City. It was sold from Redwood City but picked up in Detroit and driven straight to Daytona. It’s a pretty special car as it was one of three built as a sands car for Daytona(no one can find the other two). It has documented history of racing at Daytona the last year it was a half sand track and I believe it set the highest MPH as well that year. So while it is 1/3 it’s the only one known to be around that was specially modified from the factory to race.

I’m the one that actually lives in Danville. Not much of a farming town hehe

That’s a regular T/A the Viper in this collection is a ACR T/A, different model all together. And that’s actually 93 in Orange. Then you have another T/A model which is the T/A 2.0.

Pick your poison.

Damn, lots of options.

Well there are at least 7 I can tell you that much. The thing is a blasty blast to drive. Great way to make your GT500 feel inadequate.

I really want to borrow the 2.3tvs off his 14 gt500 for my 2012 and also the boss 302 xbrace rear seat delete out of that green mustang. Wonder if he would notice
