So a week has passed since the big announcement on the hp/torque #'s for this car...………………...now it's gone silent.

Nothing has changed on the Mustang twitter page at all for a week, the completed puzzle with the big # is still at the top of the twitter feed.

Maybe they are secretly trying to put the car on a diet before a new puzzle dawns with another #.

Hey Ford, you're not doing the car any favors keeping the rest of the stats secret, but no matter what people will still buy them...…………...hopefully the car will deliver.

I’ll just leave this here... hopefully it doesn’t drown out the Ford parade...

If Ford was smart, they'd be providing as much info as possible, in a positive vein, to hype the new GT-500. Hell, to promote Ford performance! Outside of this forum, I've heard zero from Ford fans. Sad and frustrating! My Ford dealer isn't even talking about it. Oh, they will when one is in the showroom, but zero on the marketing end. Like OP said, all we're hearing is......

Remember when the Trinity was announced??? There were videos on the 5.8 engine, PP and TP, in depth discussion on the car with the "at the time" big 662 hp #.

The Trinity had hype...………………..this car has zilch.

Ford has no marketing plan. Dodge will show them up again when they launch the widebody charger.

Look...this is Fords approach. Drop some info then do nothing for 2 months. I don't expect any more stats on the GT500 until August the earliest.

Marketing for marketing's sake is pointless... as stated, the cars will sell regardless, everyone put their big boy pants on and realize it's a stupid business decision to spend money on it and move on with your lives.

There's 0 ROI for marketing a product you know for a fact is going to move.

I was trying to determine the cost of a 2020 Charger HC Redeye Widebody so I went on Dodge.com and built a 2019 Dodge Challenger HC Redeye Widebody and it wasn't pretty, $87,000 (base price $79,440).
Base Price:
2019 Challenger HC $62,440
2019 Charger HC $68,990

Assuming the 2020 models are the same price as the 2019's just for comparison. The base price of the 2020 Charger HC Redeye Widebody would be $85,990.
