Im a fan of the 1st gen, 4th gen, and 6th gen camaros. I'd rather not see them get cancelled again as that's one less pony car on the market. The 6th gen zl1 is one bad ass ride for sure.

I actually like the looks of gen 5. Too bad they are such pigs. I would take a gen 5 with running gear and chassis of a gen 6.

If it was true, it would be back in a few years and offering 75th anniversary edition.....

I'd actually take a gen 6 with the ATS-V TT v6. Shame it was never offered that way.

If it is true, that is sad news. My second car was a 1977 Z28. Thought I was the stuff. Of course, my first car was 1969 Mach 1 and I was the stuff. Be nice to have either car now.

While I wouldn't own one now, I do appreciate the ZL1 Camaros that I see from time to time.

It's probably true. Camaro sales have been declining and the 2019 refresh was a dumpster fire. Most of the talent from the Camaro development team was re-assigned to other projects earlier this year. This is bad news for auto-enthusiast.

The big-three are not interested in putting serious R&D into pony/muscle cars.
1. Mopar's Charger/Challenger platform is ancient.
2. Ford has pushed the next-gen Mustang refresh and took a millennium to release the GT500.
3. Camaro disappear and probably get limited updates until it's expiration.

Enjoy it while you can. Smoke em if you got em.

I can't stand that crap. You don't get to celebrate anniversaries if you have literally ended the production of your vehicle because it wasn't successful enough to continue.

I bet they will make one more Z28 model with the LT5 and that will be the sendoff of the Camaro.

I get letters all the time to trade my 5th gen in on that trashcan 6th gen refresh.

Sad news, but not really surprising. Add another car model to the kill list. Automakers are shaking their world. Cars being dropped. SUVs/Crossovers/Trucks expanding. Electric vehicles on the rise. God only knows what the future holds for pony cars. Enjoy what we have at the present.

Take one look on youtube and its clear that the Camaro wasnt on anyone's shortlist.

All the street racing videos I see are LS swapped Mustangs, Boosted (TT) Coyote Mustangs, GT500s, Hellcats, GTRs and Corvettes. Sprinkle some Lamborghinis and Vipers in there and there you have it. When you do see Camaro's they are getting gapped.

I do not see many HCs but do see lots of CTSVs and GTOs.

Just take a quick look at the new Silverado and the Camaros and there's no wonder why they are in 3rd place in the truck/pony car segments.

Ugly and or 10 years behind in the interior.
