I saw this part on my Mercedes when I did a repair on it a couple years ago. You can see in the picture below it slots onto the liner and then has a soft rubber part that gets tucked into the fender lip (not sure if that is the right team or not).

I thought I had to purchase the whole splash guard which was priced at a point I didn't want to take a chance on it. But I had to buy something else for the Mercedes and spotted this part on its own. Figured I'd give it a try. It is a fairly long peice so I just cut it to size for the Cobra.

That's simple weather stripping.

Ok... It's designed for the fender liner... I haven't seen it like that before and it's rather cheap as is. I was just sharing a solution I found is all.

Went for a nice evening drive. Filled up the gas tank, made a couple highway pulls

I finally finished some work I started a year ago but got deployed shortly after I started, then came home to prepping for a new baby, having a new baby, ect... (yes it is mine, we were trying before I left).
Yesterday I put the clutch and transmission back in and put the car back together. It took about 9 hours. I think I must have a couple wires crossed on the starter though because when I applied power it started to crank. So I unscrewed the relay, quick and it stopped. I am a bit exhausted today but I'll probably get under the car again tonight or tomorrow. It will be nice to get her going again! Especially since we can't drive the Viper currently with the baby, so we need the back seat!
I have all the parts to go e-85 and TVS too, but that will wait until after the driving season!
