Depends on the individual's circumstances.

I can modify a car from day one without worry because I can repair it if it breaks.

Some people don't have the means to do so and wait until the warranty is up.

The way I see it, if you have to keep the car running for your livelihood, then make sure you wait until the warranty is up and you have another car to drive if the one you are modifying is broken.

If not, do whatever you want, whenever you want.

What do you suspect it is?

A field service engineer suggested it was the rear end, IE the diff assembly. A member on M6G replaced the diff assembly on his car on his own and it resolved the issue for him.

Not saying it'll fix my issue, but leaning towards it. I guess the ultimate shotgun blast fix would be a carbon fiber driveshaft.

I guess that's kinda what I was getting at. I would throw a driveshaft under it and call it a day. Especially with an MT-82. The '15-17 cars seem to have very little issues, so after that you would be good to go.

The car had a replacement stock driveshaft as per the SSM, it fixed it for 100 miles then went back to normal.

It's been an ongoing issue with a lot of people for a long time, Many people have tried 1 piece DS' only to have it get worse. The only other option that has worked for people aside from balancing it with a worm gear clamp, is shimming the trans mount.

Jeez, I had no idea. I assume this is exclusive to the MT-82 cars or no?

My c7z had was 90 days old, 1600 miles and I did cam, heads, lower, & headers. 1 year old and 6000 miles I had the motor built and put on the F1R. I supercharged my f150 before it was a year old and did the oil pump gears. I typically put enough miles to make sure I don't have a lemon and then do what i want. I have fortunately never broken a stock engine.

Just curious how long you waited to have your new car tuned? My car is just over a year old so I would putting my remaining warranty at risk.

I would like to do some bolt on’s, have it tuned and add a flex fuel set up to run E85. It would be done at the premier shop in the country.

What do you think?

If its a dd, it'll stay stock. If its a toy, right away.

I normally wait until the warranty is up before I start modding.
