I’ve been pulling out 30ft travel trailer with my 16 Ram 1500 for a year now. With plans to move to a larger camper next year I went ahead and pulled trigger on a 3/4 ton diesel. The new truck rocks! It’s a 2018 Ram 2500 with the Cummins. I was lucky enough to find one with pretty much every option I wanted including the alpine stereo, ram boxes, sport and off road packages. Great deals to be had on these leftover 2018’s too.

Every dealer around me does. The only issue seems to be most are tradesmen trim which I didn’t want.

I didn’t realize they did the ram boxes on the 2500’s too.

Right now I’d be hard pressed to pick any other truck over a Ram.

My 1500 had ram boxes. Since I have no intention of ever pulling a fifth wheel they were a requirement for me. Super hard to find on the 2500. This was the only one I found that was a diesel with the boxes.

Nice truck @bssmith1220

Im ask this out of pure curiosity: How is the reliability of the 6.7 with regard to the DPR and cats? One of the things that definitely keep me away from all modern diesel's is the posibility of these emissions components failing out of warranty.

I’m a few months away from tying up some loose ends at which point I’m gonna decide if I keep my hellcat (or something a little more exotic) and grab a truck to go along with it or ditch the hellcat for a trackhawk.

If I go the truck route it’ll be a ram and I’d want the ram boxes. My dad just picked up a 19 ram 1500 and it’s an excellent truck.

I don’t really need a diesel at this point in my life but if I could pick up a great deal on a leftover 2500 with the Cummins and ram boxes it would be hard to pass on....

Especially if I kept the hellcat as it’ll get the works at that point and I’d trailer it to the track

As soon as they are out of warranty is when they "fall" off and you install straight pipe and "delete" tune. Done.

Beautiful truck OP! I have a 2016 that i bought brand new and we LOVE it.
