Finally I secured something to occupy my time with. Since the TT DSG car seemed to be a hit, I decided to try something new....and also...grey. This time I’ll document it start to finish. Why did I pick this roller? Because out of the 40+ mustangs I’ve possessed, I’ve never had a new edge Saleen and I’ve never had a mineral grey car. In fact I used to hate this color when it first came out. I also hated broccoli at first only for it to become one of my favorite side dishes. So what are my plans? I know three things for sure
1) I’m going to change everything possible and make every square inch of the car top notch
2) I’m going to blow my budget
3) with the help of good friend or two and a super talented mechanic...we’re going to get this thing done in under 60 days if it kills us. Deadline....Woodward dream cruise 2019

With that said I’ve been on the road for 900 miles and I want a shower/cold beverage.

Here’s 3 teaser pics that will give you SOME idea what’s about to happen. Follow along

excited to see how this one turns out! I've never been a fan much of the saleens but I'm thinking your gonna change my mind with this one.
I hear ya on the Saleen thing. My general distaste(and the reason I've never had one) for them has always surrounded the idea that they looked nice but had no power. We can fix that :)

Very nice!
Eventually I hope you can build a notch, but I loved the color ever since I had a MG ‘01 Cobra.
Definitely subscribed.

I figured I’d save the notch for the winter months since it will undoubtedly take longer. I have just about everything needed for this particular car to have a chance of getting it ready for the dream cruise so that was the deciding factor. Notches are frustrating to find right now in prime selling season

I like the fact that you have a high degree of self awareness and that you will blow past your budget before you start!!

Sounds like a true car guy.

That particular portion of history has repeated itself every time before....why would it be any different this go around right?

I actually like the fox Saleens and 99-04 saleens. Didn’t care much for the 94-98 Saleens. Can’t wait to see what OP has in store.

Thanks fellas!

Fact 5) this car will probably be for sale in the fall so I can move on to the next project. I’m sick like that.
