1. That purple demon for sale is total BS. Yeah, call up and watch how the dealer tacks on all sorts of BS fees.

2. ON D BIT can't afford a GT500.

3. Demon from a dig would eat a GT500 alive, yet people complaining about a roll race? How should I race? In park?

4. I'm going to go drive my Demon tonight while all of you are left wondering about the GT500 for another 6 months, enjoy.

5. ON D BIT can't afford a GT500.

Right now he is trying to figure out how 625 lb ft of torque can pull harder than 770. Not to mention the 80 horsepower advantage. Man, I can't wait to embarrass GT500s.
The demon may very well be faster, but I’m a car guy and respect cars for what they are. The demon is a 1/4 mile monster and has an impressive top speed. There are a lot of cars slower that I would still love to have because of what they are. For instance, I’d like a GT350 added to the collection, not because it can hang with a demon, but because it’s a driver’s car.
As soon as the wife gives me the go ahead I will go for a GT500 over a redeye, not because it is hopefully able to hang with it, but because the GT500 will be a bad ass car.
Hell, when I’m in my terminator or 93 Cobra, I see cars faster all the time, but it doesn’t detract any from what I’m driving. It’s the experience as much, or more than the capability.
Peace bro

You ass clowns think I am racing to 150mph on public streets? Nah. I'll do 20-120mph at most. Trust me, by then, it won't even be close. Or better yet, we could do from a dig. Which nobody will want. So when can this race happen? In the winter when you finally get to pay 20K over sticker for your stangs?

no difference in penalty from 120 to 150...

I laughed at ROLL RACE ME! Any other conditions, say down hill in a straight line! You are such a ****

How can anyone seriously compare a Demon to a 2020 GT500?

Has anyone seen any warnings like these in a Ford owners manual.
From the 2018 Demon supplement.

WARNING!

To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH when using “Track-Use” parts and equipment:• NEVER use any “Track-Use” equipment on public roads. FCA US LLC does not authorize the use of “Track-Use” equipment on public roads.

• The intended use of “Track-Use” parts is for race vehicles on race tracks. To help ensure the safety of the race driver, qualified technicians should supervise the installation of “Track-Use” parts.

• FCA US LLC does not authorize the installation or use of any part noted as “Track-Use” on any new vehicle prior to its first retail sale.

WARNING!
To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:

• ALWAYS remove any “Track-Use” equipment before driving on public roads.

• ALWAYS properly use your three-point seat belts when driving on public roads.

This vehicle has been designed to maximize performance at the drag strip. In doing so, the standard configuration of this vehicle includes a two speaker audio system, removed sound deadening material, and removed passenger/rear seat and seat belts for increased vehicle performance. As a result, the interior (driver cockpit) NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) will be louder overall. This vehicle will likely get louder over time, but note that is not an indication of degraded durability; it is simply a character change in the NVH.

Demon Crate info. According to this the demon crate equipment is not stock, it has to be purchased separately and is an aftermarket kit assembled by Dodge for the demand.

For the first time ever, Dodge offers a fully OEM developed bolt on drag strip performance package as an aftermarket option for your Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. The Demon Crate content improves performance with a selection of direct connection accessories that function on and off the track and are personalized for collectability.
This exclusive aftermarket kit which includes a crate with a serialized name plate specific to each Challenger SRT Demon leaving
no doubt that it is created for one person, one car, one purpose - to go fast, giving you everything you need for a day at the track and a
convenient way to get it there. This aftermarket kit is only available to new Challenger SRT Demon customers and can be purchased by
calling the SRT Concierge line at 800-998-1110 . For your convenience, the aftermarket kit will be delivered to your home and supports your factory vehicle warranty when installed by an authorized dealer.

That says OEm designed, and aftermarket additions. Otherwise it would be in the price.

Is my Demon not stock because I put 100 Octane fuel made by SUNOCO? Hey, what's more? 625 lb ft of torque or 770? Been trying to figure this out all day.

Wow I never would have guessed that the crate is considered aftermarket! More to shit on Dodge for, including the false claims of the car running 9.65 in 100% stock form lol what a joke. But *** boy here and his pink pony thinks his boat anchor is running 100% oem stock form.

It is OEM you fools, it’s made by Dodge. And it’s also street legal.

Dodge is skirting the law by including a secondary PCM. The car is not EPA certified with 840hp "race only tune." It clearly says in the document several times for track use only. Also its clear that the car is never to be driven on the street with front shinnies.

including "mods in a box" and a bunch of wavers is just FCAs way of exploiting legal loops holes. No other manufacturer in history as ever attempted such shenanigans.

Ford tried it with the Red Key for the Boss 302 Laguna Seca and bailed once California Emissions stepped in. Yeah, screw Dodge and their shenanigans that lets me drive an 840 horsepower beast down the street. How dare they!
