Theres that spin of your again.. the owners , when given a 9 sec car, can probably drive it in the 9s..
Their Demons, the car, has never touched a 9. So, if I post a picture of their cars, it cant be called a 9 sec car.. now can it? (No it cant, Demons , like every other car, are 9 second capable)

And as always, lets not bring up the differentials that cant handle launches capable of 9 second's, with A- breaking or B- modifying beyond stock (& voiding warranty)



They were all gutted. The tx event was hyped up to be when amd where someone FINALLY goes as/faster than the Demon ringer as advertised

Whatever gives you comfort at night. Demon is a 9 sec car. GT500 is a 10 sec car. Both oem factory stock with intact warranty.

Projection doesnt suit you.

I can show you 10 (not 9) sec demons.
And again, ignore broken differentials that need to be modified to make the 9 sec passes, because, ya know.. " factory " specs

Well, that’s the point... the gt500s are being advertised as 11.0 cars. Me thinks that they are actually 10 sec capable...

Just because some will be 12s, it doesn’t mean that they are 12 second cars.

See how that works?

The rear end is definitely it’s Achilles heel. Every car has one. Still a 9 sec capable car, bone stock.

My god, I thought that Twitter image was a joke until I checked and nope, it's real. What a total FAIL this launch has been. Every touch point with consumers has been a total and utter letdown. I love you guys trying to guess hard on that second number...let me tell you which number matters the most...the FIRST NUMBER...as in...

But here's the real marketing joke. It's not the lame launches. It's not the horrible social media reveals. The one biggest marketing failure of this car is this...

You are asking people to spend the most money ever on a Ford Mustang and they can't order how they want? Only 25% a year will be Track Packages? Same BS as GT350R's. So ****ing stupid. Every Demon is the same. All 3,300. That's how you make classic.

I think the GT500R is going to be an amazing car, but good luck getting one. More dealer markups. MORE BS waiting and ADMs. The entire wait for this car has been a total marketing joke. And people are right. The Redeye just F#$Ked all of their plans up.

Oh, too early to speculate what Dodge has next? Over 900 horses baby. So yeah, who's seeing who's taillights?
Yes it sucks when Ford products can sell themselves at above asking price for years at a time with no or poor marketing. That is just terrible!

Good thing you don’t want to downgrade from your demon...

I think it will be closer than you think.
A gutted demon is 4254 at 840 is 5.0hp/w.
If the 500TP is 4000 at 760 is 5.26hp/w. Damn close. How fast is the dct and how much traction can the mustang get at 760hp.

Same day same track the difference of a demon and a gt500 won’t be too dramatic. 760hp with a dct at 4100lbs will be fast.

Consider this, a less hp/torque Lambo aventadore with 730hp/509tq na at 4000lbs with big aero and a “auto clutch manual” runs 10.3@136 in magazine hands.

The awd obviously is a huge help for the launch, but the mph is impressive.

I think gt500’s will hit 135-136 in mine shafts, maybe even a notch below mineshaft range.

Let me put it a different way,

The a8 hellcat demon has 350ms shifts. 4 of them down the track enroute to 140mph crossing in 5th gear iirc.

That’s 1400ms or 1.4seconds of shifting.

The gt500 with listed gears and 7500rpm will cross in 4th. It’s 3rd is a 1.43 good for 117mph at 7500 and 4th is 1.1 good for 167mph at 7500.

3 shifts at <100ms means it has 1.1 seconds of in gear acceleration on the demon.

I think on slicks venom kills demons
