I am participating in a high performance driving event at Virginia International Raceway in order to raise awareness for ALS research on June 17th. You may have heard about ALS with the “ice bucket challenge.”

ALS TDI is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for ALS.

Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a progressive and fatal neurodegenerative disease. ALS causes muscle weakness, difficulty breathing and swallowing, and paralysis. It can affect anyone, anywhere. Most people with ALS live 2-5 years after their first symptoms. Currently, there is no effective treatment or cure. ALS TDI believes ALS is not an incurable disease; it is an underfunded one.

Thanks for your consideration.

Great cause.

They are still taking donations via the link if you are interested. Even $20 makes a difference. The event fully funded the ALS TDI lab for two weeks of operation.

I appreciate it. I wish I had gotten the track bug earlier, but I'm officially a track junkie now.

I would love to run my SS on the track, but time has not been on my side for it. I live vicariously through you for the time being
