Huge jump in performance coming your way. What specs did you order?
If you’re a track rat, look into Caliperflexion studs, contact moderator Tob on here for info.

Congrats Doc..........

Thanks.
Our friend Tim (93R #42 owner) had one ordered as a 2018. He didn't pick it up due to getting a hip-replacement. :(

I got back with the same dealer that I have purchased several cars and trucks. Tim's car was sold, and the 2018 cars were sold out. I got in on the order of a 2019 which were scheduled early in 2019.

I ordered it as a 2019 Mustang Shelby GT350 in Magnatic (it's a dark gray). No options and stripes delete.

It is easy to find the early issues on this car. One road test had it drinking a lot of oil: Here

It's too big for here so I'll switch to PB:

I plan to drive it as if I stole it. ;)

Thanks,
It was a my first time when not attending the Mitty in 27 years.

I just got too old to do all the stuff that was necessary to win the race or the season points.

So with the cash savings on not racing, I am still trying to get a Mustang Shelby GT 350. There are lots of delays on the car.

It is all no problem to me. I will get it soon (hopefully this summer).

I didnt make the Mitty this year either.
Working on a real estate deal down here is taking my spare time.
I may hit some of the events here later in the year.

I didnt make the Mitty this year either.

As usual, the Mitty provided a lot of business for the roll-back wreckers. The weather all weekend was perfect so they sold a lot of tickets.

I saw a video with two Corvettes racing on Saturday into 10-A. One got over the curb and took out another one, flipped, and then landed in the sand trap. They couldn't pull it out as it was stuck in the sand.

The track workers finally got the pulley thing out and pulled it up and out.

Ray Evernham had his Corvette (it's fast) and his co-driver was Boris Said. Ray also had a 1932 Ford race car.

I went to a local "invitation only" car show on Sunday morning and held in Sandy Springs. I had applied with my 1995 Cobra R but got declined.

There was a 2019 Ford GT and three 2006 Ford GT's with no other Ford cars. Well, it did have two Cobra replica's which I guess are ~Ford cars--the engines came from a Ford factory in Canada. ;)

Boris Said is a great guy. Met him many years ago when he was sponsored by the Simo Brothers (No Fear)

Larry,
He was a big hit on the Nascar road racing circuits a few years ago.

Ray E. did not have a competitive car for him. They finished well off the winning time of a !:29 in Class 5.

We could have won that race!

Times are here:

I have no idea where my 2019 Shelby 350 Cobra is (it's been 5 months).

An update from internet sources: There have been several delays on the 2019 GT350. The flat plan crank (FPC) has had several delays. Ford is going into August to clear out 2019 orders. The 2020 GT350 FLP will have the (stronger) GT500 block and production will also start in August, 2019.

Say what?

I may go with the newer car?

I would.

Tom
Tom,
I have no clue here. Some say the 2019 GT350 has the stronger GT500 block. Some say not so.

I will gladly take the first 2019 GT350 that I ordered. I like the first of the Ford flat-planned crank cars.

The FPC allows more Rpm's to build power over an increased racing and track times.
