Looking for recommendations on what’s the best or recommended header; JBA,Kooks, etc, Current setup is stock h pipe and Borla S-Type axle backs. Which header has the best fitment and clearance? Will I have to install an after market mid-pipe? Thanks in advance for feedback.

LTH is the brand. Just put a set on my Boss and Justin just put a set on his GT500 and they’re really nice!

I've been running American Racing Headers for 2 years now and they have been great. Yes you will need an aftermarket mid pipe, whatever brand headers you go with get that brand mid pipe also.

I have Kooks on mine and I love them. They’re kind of cross between long and mid length so if you’re car sits low there is no worry of them scraping or hit anything. The collector it’s up higher in the chassis and the mid pipe connects with ball and socket rather then a collector gasket.

I run SW with their high flow cat and have 22,000 miles on their cats. A recent camera inspection reveled the cats looking 100%.
Dyno tune by Alternative Performance Mi at 735 HP back in the day.
My vote is SW.

Be warned, there are only certain LT headers that you can remove the trans, without having to remove the headers.... I went with Dynatech for that reason. Great fit and when I changed my clutch, the trans came out without 5 more hours of taking the headers off and on again.

That is great to know I was looking at a set of dynatech myself but I was curious on trans removal, I did not look into that when I had my 97 cobra and that was a nightmare when it was time for a clutch
