What octane race fuel are you guys running?? I am getting a race tune update and told them I was going to go with Sunoco Supreme which is a 112. But further reading Sunoco Regular which is a 110. Might actually be better . Just seeing if anybody in here played around between the two. Would hate to spend $100 for a tune update just to pay another $100 to get it updated again for a different octane.

It looks like both of those are leaded.

I've heard good things about this stuff, this is probably what I would go with.

An unleaded, highly oxygenated fuel that produces more power than any other unleaded fuel – up to 5% more than premium unleaded. Recommended for applications with up to 25 lbs of boost and naturally aspirated engines with compression ratios up to 13:1. Compared to other unleaded fuels, MS109 Reg is the best, all-around product for motorsports.

If you like Sunoco, 260gt + might be a good option at 104 Octane unleaded...

I will check into that. That why I am asking for advice. I don’t run race fuel typically. And I have 2 pulleys purchased. One for 93 and the other I was told would have to run on race fuel due to timing. And I know there are a lot of experience in these forums that has tried multiple set ups.

Half a tank of 93 octane with two cans of Torco = approximately 101 octane. Not close, but better than 93.
You would rather run a half a tank of 93@ $3.50 a gallon or whatever it is by you, +2 cans of Torco for that half tank @$20ish a can just to achieve approx 101 octane?
Honestly that is a headache I would not want. I would rather come up with an alternative for sure.

The guy is asking about actual quality race fuel and you guys are talking about Torco and Boostane? lol. Its not even close to the same quality or octane

I thought that as well, hence why I questioned the post.
I guess the dude had a bug up his ass about that comment though and had to post that he has a racecar and racegas. lol

Maybe he was referring to 16oz cans if they exist? but the $20 can of torco is 32oz, I know boostane has a 16oz for $20 and 32oz for $30

Thanks for all your guys advice. Very much appreciated! The price of Torco or Boostine and the 93 octane. To me just make since. For a little not much money just get the race gas. I went with the 110. Tuner said no need at this time for the 112. But I will change out later to an unleaded race fuel in the future. Due to the comments about burning out the oxygen sensors early. I just need to call around and see what’s available around my area. For now 110 leaded so at least I can get on the road this weekend and tear it up for Father’s Day. I got a VMP Gen 3 for Father’s Day. And I got 2 pulleys. A 2.8 and 2.6. And I was told race gas on the 2.6 for now until I change my fuel delivery system. And as anyone wants. I want to squeeze all I can get. So, I will most likely run the race gas tune locally. And the 2.8 with 93 when I go to car shows that are a little out there not local. But local game on!!!

what boost you running? 17+ would run 25%mix 110/93 20+ 50/50mix over 25+ would run 100% 110.

If below that kinda a waste. IMO.

I run 110 all the time. never had a problem with 02 sensors. Varies on how your setup is and tune. Run 110 in a stock car going to fowl out.
