Here’s a prototype for the Charger Widebody, though this one appears to be the Scat Pack variant.

Back in March, Dodge brought a “design concept” for the Charger widebody to Spring Fest (SF14) in Pomona, California. Since then there have been a few prototypes, but they’ve all seemed identical to the concept shown at SF14, that is until now. This prototype looks identical to the concept shown but features the original multi-spoke wheel design featured on the SRT392 and R/T Scat Pack with the Dynamics Package. The “design concept” shown at Spring Fest featured a unique dual five-spoke design.

After catching this prototype, Dodge is expected to offer a similar approach to that of the Challanger widebody (multi-trim application). It’s rumored that the Charger Widebody will make its official debut at The Woodward Dream Cruise in August.

Better, but still needs to lose two doors.
So you mean a challenger....

I’m curious how this will look in final revision as it could be a fun yet budget friendly dad car for me to use on the weekends. While the GT500 would be stellar it is going to be silly expensive and still won’t house car seats as well.

I like it. IMO all of the SRTs/Scat Pack Chargers should have come with the rear flares. Much nicer than the thinner factory flares.

After seeing a Demon and Widebody Redeye in person. I actually like the widebody look more and more. Pictures don’t do the cars any justice

Have to see it in person, but I already think it looks waaaaaayyyyyy better than the "widebody" Challenger.

Wonder if these things will be falling off in 10 years, like the 90's VW door trims

Body trim is exactly new tech. Almost every brand uses clips/bolts to hold trim on their vehicles.

Also the avg. person doesn’t keep a car like this for ten years so it could be a moot point anyway lol
