Alright, so both sides are installed and I was able to take the car out for a short 15 minute drive.

First impressions:

Exhaust sounds quite a bit deeper at idle and low speeds, and is noticeably louder, and has little-to-no popping or crackling. The fitment is very good, the tailpipes look almost like stock with the exception of being larger in diameter, which I personally think looks better. The installation was pretty easy, 3/10, and the passenger side went on in under 30 minutes since I knew what to expect. I do need to adjust the drivers side ever so slightly as it's lightly rubbing the lower fascia. But overall this is a quality exhaust.

Cruising around the exhaust tone is notably louder and has a significant amount of drone with light throttle around 1800-2200rpm. It's about equivalent to a 5.0L motor with 2 chamber flowmasters and an offroad H-pipe, which is something I will need to get accustomed to. With the windows up, the drone is loud. IMO, this exhaust might be a bit much with an offroad X pipe or H pipe as it would be very loud, although some people may prefer this.
At WOT the exhaust really opens up and sounds mean. It's full of tone and sounds very muscular.
From the exterior the exhaust sounds great.

Here are a few pictures and one short video, which doesn't really give an accurate idea of what it sounds like. I will however try to grab more videos in the coming days.

Yep,,,like the bigger tips for sure,,,fills the cutout nicely. It will take you awhile to get used to them and the loudness. On the drone,,just throttle on through it and don't hold the RPM's there, shift sooner if it's around a shift point. You can control it for the most part. Holding it at that RPM will just make you more aware of it.

Oh yeah,,,don't drive it to much with the driverside touching,,the tips will heat up and melt the plastic,,,,don't ask how I know this,,,,,

Subing. I keep thinking I should up-date the exhaust on my '14 Vert. Will only consider an Axle-back or Catback. Rest of the Exhaust will remain stock with Cats. For me, looking for:

A little more volume
Deep Muscle Car sound
Little or no Drone

Heard what the owner said we're the FRPP Axleback's at a show. Didn't like them, but not sure they really we're the FRPP.

Heard good things about the SSW Catback... Thanx

I believe the FRPP have Ford Racing on the end of the tips.

Paluka, is the rest of your exhaust stock?? Significant Drone would be an issue for me. They look and sounded good on the video, nice neighborhood.

They definitely fill the exhaust cut out section well. I will end up adjusting the drivers side tonight to get it off the rear fascia. It's literally to easy to adjust these axle back exhaust systems compared to the old days of the cat-backs. At least from my perspective.

Yes sir, the rest of my exhaust is stock. They definitely drone, so I'll try adjusting my driving ever so slightly to avoid it to see how that helps. Thanks for the compliments on the neighborhood.

For anyone interested, here is another short video clip of the MRT interceptor axle back. It's poor quality, so I will get better videos published soon.

For anyone who's interested in this axle back, here is another video I was able to take as of recent.

After owning the MRT axle back for several months, I am very happy with it and the quality of the workmanship. There is a slight drone, very little "popping" through the exhaust, and the note is clean, muscular, and much louder under WOT than the stock.
This video is taking off from idle under about 1/2 throttle. If anyone wants to see additional videos let me know and I'll see if I can get them taken.

I can't stand any drone at all, and I kinda like the occasional snap, crackle and pop. With the side pipes and FR axle backs, I've been very happy & have had no thought of going to anything else. No headers here, though... rest of the exhaust is stock, so I'm sure that's a factor for the overall sound.

Sounds a lot like the stock muffler with an o/r H pipe. Ask me how I know. It will get loud, but is a nice rumble at cruise. Like it.

I wonder with the additional bends and pipes involved if that hurts hp/tq? (referring to side pipes)

I'm not a fan of the crackling, popping, or a lot of raspiness which is why I like the MRT.

Yes, it's a very similar sound as the stock muffler except deeper under cruise and light throttle, and much louder under WOT. I've heard a multitude of different mufflers in person and wasn't a big fan of most, particularly when coupled with an H or X pipe as it just got too loud and raspy. But you're right, the MRT sounds very similar to a car with stock axlebacks and an offroad Hpipe which is what I like too.

I don't know if there's any notable HP/TQ loss with the side pipes, but I wouldn't think so. Tob might be able to chime in on that.

The only crackling or popping I get is on decel, of course, and not very often. I don't think it sounds raspy, but that's subjective. To me, it has a nice sound, without being overbearing, until I get into the loud pedal and then it gets appropriately obnoxious. Just my .02

Hey Paluka21 just installed my MRT Zack’s back with stock mid pipe. At WOT did your exhaust almost have a whirring noise like a turbine ???? Please let me know thanks.

I never experienced any odd sounds with the MRT other than a bit of drone.
Make sure you don’t have any air leaks or gaps where the pipes mate together.
