Well. I have final word back that doing a raffle would be against our gaming laws in the state of Missouri, I was kinda afraid of that but didn't know exactly how it would boil down.

To make it legal, you would not have to donate in order to be entered into the drawing, like a no purchase necessary type disclaimer. I would be ok with this, as I believe the people that would've donated to being with, still will as they see the need and that it's going to a great cause...but those same people would be now at a lesser chance to actually win, as a lot more people will enter if there is no dollar amount.

What are everyone's thoughts?

That's a bummer. No loopholes like doing something for charity makes the raffle okay? I'm sure you've exhausted options. What about doing like a tier system? Something like - No donation gets you one entry, $20 gets you 2, etc something like that? Not sure how to make it legit, while weeding out people who may potentially bail if they end up winning it. Whatever you figure out, I'm sure it'll be fair!

Since it's for charity it shouldn't fall under the normal gaming laws but maybe your state is different.

I sat down with our state automobile dealer association's legal counsel and they said it violates the law because it falls under the prize-chance-consideration rules.

Happy Monday! I had wanted to post on Friday, however all of the pieces hadn't fallen yet, and I wanted to have concrete numbers and news when I did post.

We're a small-medium size Ford dealership in the Midwest. We're just far enough out of Kansas City (about 30 minutes) that Ford asked us if we would want to become a "Select Dealer" instead of a "Contact Dealer"; the difference being that the contact dealers had Ford reps in their building every month or at least every quarter, and select dealers just get inundated with phone calls, emails and video conferences. We jumped at the opportunity because instead of being one of the smaller contact dealerships in our region, we would be one of (if not) the largest select dealer in our region, which has a lot of perks.

As far as our region goes, we get a lot of 'help' on allocations, and are always the first notified about Ford's newest programs. Since 2015, it's also helped us snag up extra allocation that we wouldn't have otherwise received. When the GT350s were announced and the program enrollment opened, I called 20 of the smallest dealers in our zone to see if they were signing up, and if not if I could buy their allocation. My normal allocation landed me two 2016 GT350s, three 2017s, and two 2018s; however I was able to buy other stores enrollment and use them for myself. Instead of having seven GT350s to sell, we ended up selling a total of 23.

When Ford announced the MY20 GT350/GT500 Enrollment, I was set out to do the same. A lot of dealers got "smarter" though. Several of the original dealers were keeping their allocations, which they should... and then several others, instead of just making me pay the enrollment fee, they wanted me to pay MSRP for the cars. It came down to the wire with how many allocations I was going to be able to secure, and I missed out on at least 5 more (of each) because my rep got back to me after the other dealers already closed .

I've had a 'list' of people who were wanting cars for about a year now, and now that allocation is finally settled, I'm going to post it below.

MY20 GT500
1. @Tob
2. Craig -Local Enthusiast
3. @Wilson & Co
4. @02GTKB
5. @gfcobra04
6. George -President of MGW Shifters

If you notice, #7 on both cars is "open". I'm going to raffle off the last two allocation spots and give the money towards disaster relief from the recent tornado in my hometown that left several families without homes and without any belongings.

General Info On Raffle: The MY20 GT500 will be sold at $1,199.99 over MSRP ($1,000 + $199.99 administration fee). I paid MSRP to get it, so I think that's fair. The MY GT350 will be sold at $1,199.99 over invoice ($1,000 + $199.99 administration fee). I'm not trying to get rich on a few cars, but rather put them in the hands of people who will actually drive them, and not some 60 year old man that thinks they're going to be his retirement plan.

I will make a thread when I figure out the specifics, and I will copy a link to the thread in this this, so if you are interested, please "Watch" this thread to get notifications so you don't miss it. It'll be a fairly quick process as I want the winners to have as much time with the order guides before placing an order as possible.
Glad to know @MGW George is getting one of these cars. Now I have another reason to go by the shop. I want to look over a new 500 and get real world responses from my questions.

After talking to Nick hoping for some kind of update from Ford he mentioned having a couple of GT500 allocations left. I got off the phone with him and spoke to George and asked him if he was interested in a GT500 allocation. He had previously mentioned to me being a bit disappointed in the fact that there will be no manual offering. This, combined with the fact that he had just picked up an Audi R8 led me to believe he'd say no but I figured I'd ask him anyway since I feel there will be plenty of other areas that George would be able to improve upon with some well engineered hardware.

He said yes right away and I called Nick back to see if this could be worked out. It was and George is now in line with the rest of us. He was going to fly out with me to Missouri to pick mine up and to drive but now it looks as if we'll both be getting one. In a perfect world they'd both come in at the same time and we could drive them half way across the country in tandem. We shall see.

It would indeed. George is looking for a Handling Package car and I'm willing to take a shot and see if Nick gets a CF Performance Package allocation but if not I'll be looking for something similar to what George orders.

Hmm maybe 3 heading back toward NY state as I see it, and I too really going for a Carbon Pack not sure how it will work with Nick if he only gets 1 or 2 allocations for those. But you and I would start that trend. I wouldnt mind if Nick did some kind of drawing if pans out.

very wise, J.

Still got your 'Cat?
Yes sir, just mounted some fresh 555Rs and will turn her back in 3/1/20, so this is the last summer/fall.
Last fall I met my brother on a Wed night to crew for him. The track seemed decent for a Wed T&T, and light crowd, so I said why not, paid the $20, aired the tires to 18psi and ran 11.07@128. Booster seat in rear and golf clubs in trunk :)
It’ll be hard to turn down a Charger Redeye with 3.09s and an E85 tune, so I may get back in one eventually.
For now, next step will be a Ram or F150 for the work lease and a 2021 GT500. Man we live is good times for V8 power!
Great guys like you, Nick and the SVTP crew part of the fun. Hope things are well man.

Glad it’s working out for you Tob.
It will definitely be interesting how Ford limits/allocates the CF package cars. I’m assuming the limitation will be the availability of the CF wheels.

or, 1 entry per person with no donation, or x amount of entries per $x donation to XYZ charity with proof/confirmation etc etc?
