I don't understand it myself. Sure if you're launching on a prepped street like you see in some of these videos on YouTube. But the majority of my friends, who make good power (600+), they love dig racing on the streets. Unprepped. And while we have the perfect road for it, it just seems like a recipe for disaster, regardless of tire choice.
