Sorry to bump an older thread, but I am in a dilemma between the raxiom and 13-14 tails. I am actually leaning more towards the raxiom. Anyone have feedback on them?

I have a 13 gt. My opinion is the 13-14 lights look a lot better and thats what i would go with if i had a 11-12.

The quality of the 13-14 is second to none. But I admit, I got a smoking deal on my set. If I was paying new retail or just under for a nearly new take off set, Id be taking a hard look at the V2.

Just do the 13/14 bumper and quad exhaust, keep the stock rear lights. 13/14 lights look good but not worth that price.

The 13/14 bumper won't work with 10-12 taillight setup, the 10-12 taillight has a triangle/trapezoid style point at the bottom of the assembly while the 13/14 is much smoother & rounder.

That's why, like me w/ a 12, would have to use those Axial Tail Light Trim to fill the gap on our bumper-

Raxiom Mustang Tail Light Conversion Trim 301043 (10-12 All)

..........................................................................................................

I've been wanting to go to a quad tip exhaust setup for a long time:
I was hoping for Ford Performance or anybody else to come-up with a lower rear valance replacement versus having to go to a 13/14 bumper or cutting up my valance to make it work...

The Raxiom trim overpriced for what it is (plastic trim inserts). But, if replacing the bumper and going quad tip isnt an option or desire, they are worth the asking price if you want a clean look. I installed the housings without them and was super bothered by the gap sitting under them. Once the 13-14 lights were on with the trims it was easy to see that they were priced appropriately.

13-14 tails not worth $600?
Can buy for $600 and sell them 2 years later for the same amount you paid for em. Can't say that for a lot of our aftermarket parts

just my opinion

Actually, I was responding to the previous post by JAZZ
For me, I would actually try to save $$$ by finding a used 13/14 bumper in the factory Ingot-Silver that isn't scratched or beat up and start from there...

But I'm stilling leaning on just going with the V2 for the time being...or attempting doing the tint wrap myself on my original 10-12 tails.

JAZZ was indicating the 13/14 bumper will work while retaining the original 10-12 taillights [on a 10-12 Mustang/GT500 body]... which using my '12 as a reference, I didn't think it would really work because of the taillight bottom shape & 13/14 bumper

But with the pics posted by JAZZ in #49, I guess it's possible after-all

Thanks, lexustech48

After seeing your pics

It's possible after-all

Didn't think it would be physically possible due to different bottom shape & needed spacing...
