I was out for a drive today and snapped some new pictures of my car. I sold my super snake wheels and put some base SVT wheels on, I personally love how they look. Either way I know it's nothing exciting, But enjoy.

Looks great. I am also one of the few that like the base SVT wheels. I had them on my 2014 and while my next 13/14 GT500 will have the Perf pack I already have a set of brand new base wheels that I picked up locally last year for $900 to put on.
I'm with you man, the base wheels just look so much cleaner.

I'm not sure probably 750+whp, but I would like to get my new 160mm T/B dialed in before I put it on the dyno. Currently I'm still running the FRPP twin 65mm. Lund racing couldn't tune the 160. So I'm patiently waiting for Justin to do the tune. But I'm not very optimistic right now.
Thanks man, I really liked the SS wheels, but I'm happy with the base wheels for the time being.
Ebay is about the only place you can find them anymore.
I like those wheels WAY more than the others. Car looks great. I mean the PP wheels. The alcoa's are awesome. Love those wheels. Just prefer the base wheels to the PP wheels.

Tony the Alcoa Forged wheels below are my favorite wheels for the GT500. They are beautiful but not spending that kind of money on wheels. The Base SVT wheels are right up there for me and the cost is not crazy. But I do like the Super Snakes. The set that Steve just sold were great looking too but the base wheels look excellent on his Shelby.
Something about those wheels...and 750+...makes your car full of awesome.

Have not seen many sets on Ebay recently but Midwest wheel and tire still have some OEM front and rear base wheel sets in stock. They are not as cheap as they were a year ago or so but not too bad.

Looks like they/that company does PVD. Would be cool to see these base wheels in a dark or black chrome PVD, especially on your car color combo.

Nice. It says that its the last set and I wonder if the inventory is running low for these OEM wheels. Time to grab if anyone is looking for a set.
