It's not a bad idea to start now for a Bronco in those years because values are going up on them. I got mine for $2500 and it is really clean but definitely needs some work. If I ever had to list it I would probably put it down for at least $6k now. It just seems like everyone is looking for them right now, and I'm so glad I got mine out of storage and started working on it again because it is by far one of my top two favorites to drive, probably a tie with the Cobra. I would probably say 1. Cobra, 2. Bronco, and 3. Tremor. Definitely look for one with a 351 in it unless you plan on doing an engine swap. The 351 sounds tits with exhaust.
Tell me about it. I live in Southern California where off road vehicles are very popular. But thanks for the advice on the 351, I often wondered if that’s the route I should go.

I have been thinking about a longterm goal of putting a 427 in it built off the Windsor motor which I think Dart offers and a few others since it should just drop right in there. The 351 in it is a lot of fun though and I sort of want to build that motor too.

Pussy Wagon. Not quite as baller as a Rambler, though.

HA! The only pussy in that wagon was me! You know I'm a woman, don't you?

I'm surprised about all of the Ramblers. They used to make fun of mine. You floored it, and it gradually picked up speed. Hey, but the seats went all the way down.

No I didn't know you were a Lady. Perhaps I should've used the phrase "D" wagon....

What made you go used for the Cayenne? Couldn't wait for a new one, or was the deal too good to pass up?
It wasn't used. It was a never sold, never titled leftover with no miles. And I do mean no miles. The deal was way too good to pass up. The dealership listed it at the wrong price and had to honor it.

The story behind it was that it was supposed to be a promotional vehicle for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife(?) R&B singer Ciara. Supposedly, he drove it from Tacoma to Seattle then back to Tacoma. There it sat for a year or two. I'm guessing Ciara didn't like it, so they decided to go with a G-wagon from the Mercedes sister dealership.

They're loss, our gain!! It's a near $200K vehicle with all the Porsche acronyms, except PDK, of course, which no Cayenne has. Aside from the power fold-away hitch, glass cockpit and active rear wing, it has everything the new ones do. Unless you're looking at them from the back, you'd be hard-pressed to tell the differences between them on the outside. I actually LIKE having all the physical buttons on the center console. And there's not much difference in the infotainment systems. The graphics are actually the same.

Damn, nice find!

Congrats on finding one; and it's cool it has an interesting story attached to it.

@Zemedici what made ya go from the truck to a V?
Got the itch for something fast again?

Yessir, and truck was going to start having problems soon i felt and warranty was expired.

Was initially looking for evo 8/9, but a car to my liking was going to be $28k+, and i had just put a shitload into the truck for the build. So decided on caddy, never had a LS.

Plus with new F150s coming out value was about to tank.
