So I'm at a loss as to what I need to do. The car ran perfectly fine before the swap and now all it will do is crank over. I pulled a coil out and put a plug in and it definitely has spark, but I feel like hitting my head against the wall. Anyone have issues after the conversion? I'm about to go pick up a fuel system gauge to see what my pressure is at the rail just in case something happened.

Correction, no spark. Injectors are definitely firing and there's 37psi at the fuel rail.

I believe i have read on here , where you have to reverse the polarity when swapping to cop from the Sn style set up .

It's a Red Monster harness, I verified nothing is up with the factory wiring because I just placed the factory ignition back in place and it started like a champ. I'm having the harness swapped to see if that solves the problem.

ViciousBlack97, I'm having the same issue now. I just installed the harness, VC, and COP. The will turn over but not start. I have double checked every connection a couple of times.
I'm running stock plugs, 99 COPs, and Red Monster harness, have you gotten yours figured out yet? Please help.

So, unfortunately my answer is that I switched back to the coil and wire setup. Honestly, I could never get it to work right. Sometimes it would fire and run great around the block, and then as soon as I got home and tried to stop and restart it would just crank. I flooded the engine a couple times trying to just start the car, and eventually I got frustrated and switched back to the original setup. I haven't had a single issue since.

That's too bad..... I coordinated with The Red Monster and we came down to a bad wire somewhere in the harness. He's going to replace it. When I get the new one back will be trying this again. I don't want to switch everything back again, cause those VCs are a real pain to work with.... If that new harness doesn't work I'll have to switch back.

So, I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud, but I sent the original harness back to him and had a replacement sent out. The exact same symptoms were present with the replacement harness. And I know what you mean, the valve cover R&R absolutely sucks. I've got to do it here shortly because my lash adjusters are starting to tick haha. Best of luck though, I really wanted the conversion harness to work because of just how clean it makes everything look.

Thanks Man, I'm hoping new harness does work. Good luck to you, and thanks for the information.
