Base layer and a second wash layer. My paint is far from perfect and this stuff seems to hide it pretty well from 10 feet.

Second picture of my buddy's Boss for fun.

OK, this stuff is great. Hit a few of our notorious Lovebugs this morning and sat on the truck all day baking in 95* heat. A little spray of detail spray and wiped right off when I got home. That’s normally a heavy fingernail scrub to get them off. Washing it again this weekend for a second coat.

Yep, and the more you use it, the better it gets. I am more than impressed.

When I was at Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago, I saw a similar product by Rain-X. Label verbiage made it sound like it's supposed to be basically the same thing, but half the cost. I may give it a try as well. Really though, if a $13 gets me 4-5 applications, it's a small price to pay for the benefits.

I think most users will get 5-10 applications. The water bill from washing is probably more.

Finally had a chance to work on my daily driver jeep today. Beautiful day to spend some one on one time with it. Its a near 20 year old Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport 4.0. Its been rode hard, trailed, plowed through mud, mud holes, rivers, snow banks and everything in between. The paint isnt perfect, the hood is chipped and fading in places. It really needs a paint job, but until I can do that, I keep it coated.

Total time today was 5 hours. Used Megs 160 grain claybar, then Megs NXT 2.0 Tech wax then used Megs Hybrid Ceramic Coating to seal it all in. Not to bad for a 20 year old Jeep.

Threw some on the Ram truck today. First coat, rubbed in as I was drying. Very shiny! Looking good! Ive been a fan of Meguiars products for many years, they keep getting better!

Too much positive hype to keep avoiding this stuff, time to pick up some to try out. I cleaned out all my excess detailing supplies and have been trying not to start hoarding again lol.

Are you guys using this every wash?

I almost skipped an application during a "quick wash" on my Cobra tonight, but I went ahead and did a light mist and then hard water spray. It is just too easy to not do it. I have noticed an improvement with multiple applications on the Camaro.

I keep performing the first application process. I haven't tried the quick process yet. Maybe I should.
