Ford GT - Best Sounding V8 Ever? Whipple & GoPro

Tried my first attempt at filming my Dad's GT with my new GoPro 7. I uploaded in 4K to youtube, but it will take time to process I am sure

Video absolutely doesn't the the car justice at the absolute volume of the exhaust. It is absolute bliss to the ears while driving. Radio always off!

Words cannot express my feeling's for this car. Jay Leno just did a nice piece on his, check it out.

Everything about the 05/06 FGT is amazing, if I could ever own one, it would be exactly like that one.

Lund racing just did a tune on a 05 FGT with L&M NSR cams, 4.0L whipple and full exhaust, I think it made 865whp.

Sounds good! The Terminators sound good too though - you know that!

Is that a rock chip on the left white stripe at the front? Around 4:07?

I cant disagree. In the almost 14 years we have had ours, literally the radio has been on twice. The 1st time was curiosity if it worked.

I love the Ford GT... had the pleasure of driving one years back. Maybe I’m partial being a Boss 302 owner, but this video pushes my button.

Saw that. My dad's only running 18psi and pump. If we could bump it up to 24psi and run E90 it would be insane. But the belt is very hard to change and my dad isn't necessarily a "number chaser"

It's possible. He drives it a decent amount. I think it has 16k

Awesome! Appreciate you putting the go-pro in the engine bay...pretty neat idea. Massive chrome 4L Whipple under the glass hood for everyone to see, love it!

Really surprised it didn't catch more of the blower whine in there.

Didn't want to keep the camera in there too long. I'm sure the camera was close to thermal shutdown

If we turned up boost and ran E90 could probably make 900+. But it's hard to do with this application

I think an 05/06 GT would only be second to a ‘65 R-model for me. IMO, the GT is most beautiful car out of the box since the E-type Jags.

I will never forget watching that ad during the Superbowl when they intro'ed the GT.
