As many pm’s as I got on these I’m frankly surprised there are still 2 open slots.

For folks that were looking at the racebronco hood and missed it or just didn't want to deal with the foolishness of trying to get one, this is a great alternative at a great price.
I'd be all over these if I didn't have my racebronco hood

I actually had a douche on FB arguing about how the vents will allow water to ruin your alternator (never mind it already sits at the bottom of our motors where water tends to splash up while you're driving) and how messy things will be under your hood after it rains. Some people have to crap all over anything they don't like.

This guys car rules. Very clean Cobra, he's done some very very nice mods to it. Anyway, here's another angle...

He’s not entirely wrong in regards to the messiness under the hood after it rains. Naturally it’s pretty open to the elements and should you get caught out in weather you will have some cleaning to do. With that said that’s like saying not to buy drag radials because they perform poorly in snow. It lacks relevance. With that said here’s a disclaimer: if you regularly drive your cobra in the rain then these may not be for you lol

Fact. Clearly its open and water will get in. My car only sees water when I wash it so yes you will need to wipe everything down after a wash unless you want water spots and what not

Am I the only one who never washes their car with water? If you’re using a leaf blower or compressed air to dry you shouldn’t really have much to wipe down

I don't want to cut my hood at this time.
What would price for just Louvers be shipped to 02702? website says $219.99 + $30.00ish shipping

Oh, I don't doubt there will be water getting in when it rains and you're driving, but I see no reason why it would be a "mess" unless you're engine bay is slathered in some kind of shiny applicant. Water's water...things will get dirty regardless...I've had several different mustangs and all had vents of some type and never was dirtier than any other closed hood type of car.
