After a year of informal hunting and 6 months of checking out various cars I finally landed a 00R in March this year. After owning, and tracking, a 95R I was itching to add a big bad brother to the stable.
As luck would have it the car I purchased was never for sale officially. It was a member on here who saw my posts and decided to reach out (I’ll let him indenting himself if he wants). In a matter of days I made the trip to see it and a few days later took it home.
It checked all the boxes I was looking for, which was a tall order. It has all the documentation you could ask for and then some!
So.. why did it take me over 2 months to post this? Today was the first day I actually drove it (other than around the neighborhood) - work, weather, pollen, etc. all conspired to delay the inaugural cruise.
Without further delay... here are some pics from the day I got it and today’s Remember the Heroes car show (great event for a great cause) where it took home Mayor’s Choice. Last picture is it loaded up on the trailer ready for some charity parade laps at VIR coming up - until then it must stay clean!
