Lol what is this lame response? It is greedy because this is no limited production run by any means, so there fore many if not at release or next year just like the 350 will be able to get these at or under msrp.
Who cares? Let the market run its course. Being impatient and riteous for a product is worse than complaining about adm

currently drive one of the best automatic trans in the game (Hellcat ZF A8). And I’m thinking 400-500# less mass, more power and more brakes, plus this class first DCT equals a winning package.

You forgot one of the best attributes to the s550 chassis and that's magnaride. its ****ing awesome. you literally feel like the car is on rails in the corners.

then whats your gripe? pay what you feel its worth, be it 1 day after release or 365. Unless of course the supply cant meet the demand.

Pretty sure your gonna try and sell your home for the max amount its worth, likely even more depending on the climate, not what the tax appraisers value it as ;)

Sadly a base C8 will probably blow it away with no ADM.

Thread title is laughable.

This car will be no McLaren.

Agree on the c8 vette, though not sure a base model will get it done.

Base C8 will probably cost much less than a base GT500...taking that extra money to add a power adder will probably still leave you with plenty left in your pocket and a car that will all around smoke the GT500. (Yeah I know you can mod any car, blah, blah....but who in their right mind would worry about performance, spend more for less and then cry we aren't comparing base cars?)

I love Ford, but sounds like these will be priced way too high and way out of their class.

Let's just wait and see the street price (that's read MSRP + greedy ass dealer mark up) and then take that "price" and see what else we can buy...

Agree with all of that.

Problem is Ford will sell every single one and ADMs will be for the norm for YEARS after initial release.

One of the greatest things about the 03/04 Cobra was how amazing it was and still affordable for the average enthusiast. Unfortunately this is no longer the case.

Your perception of a free market is the only thing lame.
I will gladly charge the sun, moon, and stars if I think someone will pay it.

Type of people you are is very few compared to those who totally agree anything over a set price is wrong. I could completely understand “if” they gain that much value after bought, and we all know the answer to that. Any one paying or charging high adms feel this is normal and it’s a cause of the market. To many others such as myself it’s quite the opposite reasons. It’s blatantly deceptive to the buyer with false claims. I am a salesmen and I know exactly why they do what they do. But I can tell you so far there be a lot less adms lasting long compared to when the 350 was introduced

1st, you are a salesman. I can guarantee you have customers that paid more than the lowest you could sell it for

2nd, deceptive is factually incorrect. the salesman will sell it for the most amount he can, because there will be a buyer that views it is worth that price.

System is working fine

So is a house that appreciates. But none of the the home owners complain of selling their house for more than they purchased it for....

Some people make payments on their house for 30 years and put a lot of extra money in it over that time. And your appreciation doesn't take into consideration the loss in the dollars value over a 30 year timespan. Not all houses go up in value, you have to be pretty lucky to get more than you paid for your house. Having said that, the majority don't stay in the same house for more than 7 years, if that long. There are always exceptions to every rule.

The only people that don't have a problem with ADMs are dealers and people that are into instant gratification and don't care how much they pay for something as long as they are the first kid on the block with the shiny new toy. Luckily, most of those people bore easily with the new toy and are already looking for a way to stand out in the crowd, so they spend most of their time and effort looking for the next shiny object. That's where a lot of the members on this and other forums step up and buy the rich kids toys at a substantial discount. Yeah for rich kids. That's what I call instant devaluation.

I love how dealers justify charging adm's saying "everybody wants it".

You know what everyone of those dealers want? MONEY.

Since "everyone" wants my money, it's only fair that I say every $1.00 I give you is now worth $1.50 since even more people want money than they do the car you're selling.

See how stupid that is?
