I love the Corbeaus. Took my factory seat belts out too and I just run the 5 point harness. It's not a daily

I was ready to pick up a pair of Corbeaus, but I seem to read more bad about them than I would like to.
Recaros are just too expensive.
Maybe Braum?

You get what you pay for. I can’t imagine a China produced Braum would be any better than Corbeau.

What rails are you using where did you get the seats?

Modified... 99-04 ford brackets, # SB040DR & SB040PA. And recaro slider inside bar, no tabs. #0.07.9NT. Ford seat brackets were 131.76 each. And the recaro sliders were 119.12 each. And the seats were 1462.50 each. For a total of 3443.73. Add shipping and tax it was 3954,28. It was all bought through Brad's Custom Auto in Settle. Courteous of the PO. Gotta love fire sales...

But I have rocked all the bigger name seats. Sparco's are up there in comfort and quality. After spending 800$+ on a evo 2xl seat. I would defiantly pony up the extra 600$ for the recaros.

03 DSG Snake. if you want to message me. I can get you some pics of the modded seat brackets this weekend. If you want.

The Braum reviews don't mention anything about black seats turning purple, or the seatbelts slots falling out.
I did however read a couple people whom praised Braum's customer service. They even sent a replacement set when someone complained theirs were squeaking.

I just couldn't get past the idea of putting a seat known to be made for imports into a cobra. Would be like the reverse of putting a torque thrust wheel on a Benz. If you don't like Corbeau, get an entry level Sparco. My buddy has R100's. They're cheap and look great

Damn! I had a friend measure like racecraft said and got a touch over 17" so they said round up to at least 18". Just nervous; don't want to have to ship these things back and forth.

UPDATE: Make sure you use a straight edge to measure across the back of your hips. Kirkey has a diagram showing how. Kirkey got rid of the 18" in lieu of the 18.5. Racecraft claims that won't fit the pass side due to the offset, hence the 17" only for pass side note with their brackets. I've talked to a guy running 18" on both sides fyi so maybe you could squeeze it.

Seats are ordered. I plan to throw them in next week so I'll update.

confor blue...

You're welcome
