Need advise blew my engine

01 lightning with 103K miles no pressure in cylinder #2. Mechanic wants 6k for a new Promar engine installed. I have 13K into it now but don't know what to do at this point. What would be a fair price for it as is...has had new front rear breaks calipers, new battery, New tires chrome wheels new hood with scoop new grill upper and lower. seats are good no tears great looking truck but not sure it is worth 18K after new engine... Sucks big time ):

keep the L man, they are bad ass trucks and need to stick around~ !

Maybe call some reputable shops and see what it would cost to rebuild (stronger rings, pistons, rods etc) rather than a new long block.

What did you end up doing? Fix it or sell it?
