My setup doesn't help you much as far as you maf location. My maf is in the fender, blow through. But this gives you idea of how much space the 4" Powerpipe takes up.

See thats the most common setup I see. The tube that comes off my TB ties into an elbow going into the charger, yours comes in from the fender. I laid the pipes out how they will be mounted and looks a bit diff than most setups.

4” power pipe and coupler to MAF and filter will be next best thing.

The flex tube not fit over 90mm MAF?

KB with b-head are no good. 2.1’s barely make 500 on 2 valves and those are intercooled.

The flex tube works but doesn't suite me and seems chincy. I show the car so it has to look good. See the other inlet gold pipe sitting in front of the flex pipe? in terms of going into the blower what parts are needed? Just a 4" power pipe and coupler to connect maf to air filter? My maf doesnt have a flange on it, its setup and was used as a blow threw. Be so much easier if someone who knows what they are looking at lived close, could stop over and look at this. This way i know exactly what is needed

I lied. It just came with the flex tube. Let me post a pic of how it will look. And I want it to funtion correctly and not look like it was trailer park built so the flex pipe has to go. So by looking at my piping. what do I need to make this work that I need to add to the intake pipe going into the head unit? I do need to get a maf with a flange so I have my ba3000 up for trades, at this point i am getting a bit confused, seems there are allot of piping still needed?

Doesn't look like any piping is missing. Get a powerpipe and use either maf. Can get a flange adapter for the BA3000 to mount the filter. Probably cheaper on ebay. SCT Mustang 2900 Big Air MAF Cone Filter Adapter 2900 (89-04 V8)

I have a Paxton intercooler and my powerpipe goes down into the fender and doesn’t have to fight for space with charge pipe.

I suggested coupler on powerpipe >MAF >clamp on filter to MAF.

I have a 2 valve but nearly same setup just no coil in the on mine.

Edit: circle is where slot style MAF is installed now.

So power pipe will connect to the tube coming off the blower inlet and go through the fender? Then the maf and filter connect to that? Just looked at the price of power pipes :eek: and I have a bypass valve. Instructions don't show that. Do I really need it?

My powerpipe is a Anderson Ford Motorsport for our year model running Vortech's exactly the way you are trying to rin it. It is designed to go down into hole in the fender apron and act as a "cold air". I had to cut the damn thing to work as is because obviously my charge pipe and power pipe won't fit in the fender apron opening. I wasn't about to hack up the car for both to fit. I sacrificed the powerpipe

You could use something like this, bolt the maf to the powerpipe then strap the filter to the other side of the maf housing. Run it in the fender

I also run a 4” Anderson PP down into the fender well. Granted I am running the after cooler system so it’s not quite the same, but heres a pic to give an idea. You can see from all the scratches it’s a right fit, but it fits. And that’s with the thicker mishimoto radiator.

So I think I can run the gold inlet pipe that I already have, get a 4 inch to 3 inch boot, hook my maf into that boot then just put the air filter right on the maf and hook those with a 4" boot. There is an adaptor on my current stock intake to run a 4" air filter, I wonder if I can press that flange onto my new maf, then the air filter will be just right inside the fender and the maf will be 1/4 way through the fender. I'll try to upload pics from my phone, probably have to wait until tomorrow and do it from work computer

So with my maf since it doesnt have a flange I can mount my filter onto the maf then connect those 2 too the inlet pipe? And both of those will be in the fender well?
