So need a little help. Did the 2001 Bullit all come with red front calipers. So I am getting ready to order new brakes and rotors on my bullit project. My calipers are not red tho. I have been searching for rotor/brake combo, and some companies ask if yes or no on red calipers. I have searched everywhere and cannot get a diffinitative answer. Can someone please chime in before I order the wrong parts.

Yes, all 2001 Bullitts came with Red Calipers.

Here's a link to the proper calipers but they do not have the Pony on them, but they are the same type red caliper.

I would also recommend the Power Stop Z26 Pads & Rotors. They also make Red Powder coated Calipers for your model.

So what do I have on this turd? Did someone swap out or were they suppose to be red. Was just trying for brakes and rotors obviously you see how bad they are.

I would say someone swapped them out for the same kind but not powder coated and actually I stand corrected, the factory ones weren't powder coated, the were painted. They would chip and you would have to touch them up.

From the looks of the pictures it looks like those rotors had a coating on them at one point and someone removed the coating.

You can just use a sticker.
