If true, I would buy 2. I loved my 17 raptor but not enough to keep it. I would be happy with just a coyote motor in it.

Unfortunately these long term projections by Ford have left a bad taste in my mouth. I had struck a deal on a new out of state GT350R 2 years ago and basically had the trailer ready to go, but 'held out' 2 days before I was supposed to drive down and pick it up deciding to wait on the new GT500 after all the excitement. Where has that gotten me? Still close to another year's wait on the GT500 when I could have been enjoying the R for 2 years and then picking up the GT500 if I wanted. I purchased my first GT500 in 1978 but this one has now almost left me not even caring.....

I've got a loaded 2019 SCREW Raptor as my 20k mile a year DD and really like it. I hate to say it but I almost don't care about the possibility of the V8 back in the truck in what, 1 year? more like 2 years? I don't care that it will be a $100k purchase, I just don't want to get excited and have it be another long term wait and disappointment. I find that life's too short to wait for long term anything and I am decidedly not a good 'waiter' .. LOL

^ You should be thanking Ford you didnt buy that 350R, the 350 is officially the biggest dud in recent years.

How so?
People were paying $50k over msrp for the R and $20k over for the mass market one two years into production cycle!
More than one pro driver claimed it was a top 5 driving car at any price point and Pobst straight out said he liked it better than the $120k Porsche GT4.
It was a far bigger bit than the either the 07 GT500 or the 13 GT500.

The engine has a glass jaw.

I couldn't care less. I absolutely love my 2017 Raptor. And even if they do, I have no regrets with purchasing my truck back in 2016. I've had an absolute blast offroading it this whole time.

When I was passing people out in MT last summer, my twin turbo V6 rocked out. Grades in mountains, didn't care. I wouldn't settle for a 5.0 after driving a twin turbo V6.

The TT V6 has been pretty impressive but wont touch the 5.2 supercharged motor. Mind you the TT v6 isnt nearly as reliable as the old 6.2L
