This is for the guys that take drag racing or street racing a little more serious or if you are tired of getting beat by the new camaro or 5.0 cars . This is what you can expect to drop in weight by removing these items in your car .

Driver seat -70lbs
Passenger seat-70lbs
Rear seats -57lbs
Trunk mat-14lbs
Foam tray -20lbs with amp
Battery-46lbs lithium is 5lbs-41lbs saved
Factory wheels are 69lbs 245 scat pack wheels .
I do not have a drag pack yet so I can’t tell you what that will save but I’d expect 70-100 lbs . Also a Kirkey seat with planted bracket is roughly 24lbs so you can save around 46lbs by doing that seat .

Also I haven’t got into driveshafts ,dragpack or brakes yet goal is a 10 second bolt on 392 .

Shaved a lot of weight there my friend. Is it safe to assume you will be posting pics of some of those replacement lighter weight parts?

That's some serious weight reduction. I remember back in the day when Iron Terp (Dwight) posted his Terminator weight reduction list. For those serious, like you, it's amazing how much weight reduction options your have with most vehicles.

It is some work, but there’s another 10lbs (or more) to remove in that insulation that is bonded to the inside of the trunk and passenger compartment. Good luck.

Thanks guys yea 10s is the goal fbo I think it can be done with weight removed . It just seems like the dodge side don’t try to hard at the track and go straight to the hellcat instead lol .

Are you going to get welds all around? I think weight reduction you're doing plus welds and skinny/slick setup with a full exhaust should get you in the 10s. That A8 from zf is amazing and those 6.4L cars make great power.

I'm curious to see how this all comes together. Post again when you have some results. Do like stock first with just weight reduction. Wonder what that would be?

What’s your weight goal for this car?
I’m trying to get mine to 3200lbs without me in it.

P.S. A heat gun and a plastic scraper make short work of removal. Follow it up with goo gone to remove any residue.
