OP now that I'm not on my phone taking a poop on company time, PM me if you have any questions about mods and I can point you in the right directions or to the right people. I have a few friends who grew up with "box body fever"

A friend of mine who has owned countless box bodies (including 3 wagons and a tudor, still has a 87 colony park) threw a set of trickflow heads + cam along with a MAF conversion into his 89 CV sedan. Tuned with quarterhorse and backed by a T5Z 5spd. Made enough power to send the carrier out the rear diff cover, car never went back together after that and sits as a bare shell in the woods lol.

Throw a basic paxton or vortech kit on it. Should be dead nuts reliable and make a great amount of power. Add a shift kit and a nice converter for that extra off the line hit.

Keep everything else stock and just go around trolling people.

It's a LoPo w/ E6 heads (don't even think they got E7's, might be wrong there). The engine is such a smog era turd you're better off doing a H/C/I to get some good power.

Badass! Props for thinking outside the box. I remember those. Didn't they have a diesel option too? Wheels, tint, lowered a smidge, coyote swap, turbo....lol

The continental and mark 7 had the bmw 2.4 (M21) diesel backed by a ZF 4HP22. That was not available in the panther.

That's awesome. We had a mid 80's ford wagon years ago when I was a kid that came factory with a manual transmission and I believe a 5.0.

Does it have flip up rear facing seat. We used to fight over who got to sit in that seat as a kid.
