You should check out the distillery. I don't know what the 80's can handle as I've never ran E85. I recently ordered a fuel system and since I know I'll want more than 600 eventually I tried to go bigger so I only have to install everything once. I ended up going with the ID1050's.

you think they can handle like 650 or 680 or somewhere a bit under 700?

A 2.3 whipple was making over 700 on E85 over ten years ago on this forum, and it was highly documented for years. No, it wasn't "mustanglifestyle" on youtube......it was 04sleeper. He's the moderator on the Distillery section here, and for good reason....he's the godfather of running a terminator on liquid gold. That was back in the day when the naysayers of ethanol were claiming "don't use that crap! It's going to eat the motor, fuel lines, injectors.....horrible stuff!!!!"

I have personally hit right near 800rw on my can with 80s back in 2012 with E85 so yes it is possible. Many tuners are now going to the FIC and FID injectors that are half the cost of IDs and a lot of tuners say better. I am about to pull my 80s and just recently pulled my triple pump setup that were all good to 800rw on E85 as I have done it.

It has been like that since 2003. Nothing has changed in 10+ years except vendors adding the word Gen to their models so you will rebuy the same items...

Were you near the limit on those 60's? I am running 56's on my ported setup and plan on keeping them when I install my TVS 2.3.

Good to hear. My 56's should be fine then.

Just sell the 2.3 and get a standard inlet 2.9 80 lbs injectors, and boost a pump, some longtubes, maybe cams youlll break 600 on pump gas.

Im making 730 on pump 93 oct no additives with a 2.9 whipple, return fuel and built motor. 700 isnt hard to hit, e85 will def do it
