IIRC... Late model P71 shocks bolt on and improve handling a bunch. I believe there are larger stock/replacement swaybars as well.
I thought Lares sold a quicker three turn ratio steering box that was pretty cheap when ordered from Advance Auto...
But on the other hand....maybe driving your living room couch is your favorite part and no suspension parts are needed?!? lol!
Have any idea what gears are in this thing? Basic bolt-on's and Jmod in the trans could = fun times!

Throw a basic paxton or vortech kit on it. Should be dead nuts reliable and make a great amount of power. Add a shift kit and a nice converter for that extra off the line hit.

Keep everything else stock and just go around trolling people.

Badass! Props for thinking outside the box. I remember those. Didn't they have a diesel option too? Wheels, tint, lowered a smidge, coyote swap, turbo....lol

I think I'd puke if I had to hand someone my hard earned money in return for that.

But hey....glad you like it.

What they don't tell you is the engine was out of it. Not sure what sort of difference it could or could not make, though.

They also made the airbag and shoulder restraint mandatory in ‘89 iirc so that isn’t exactly a fair comparison to his new whip.
