I did it, 340 miles out of tank of gas

Pointless add to an old post.
I just bought a stick, Mach. Drove it home 173 miles.
Filled it till it clicked, when I left Rockford mi.
It was pegged on half tank when I arrived in Shelby twp. Mi. That would roughly be 350 a tank.
I'm going put this thread on my watch, and update when I get a true mileage.....
Car has 4:10s an exhaust and some kind of tune? Also running rich, started it today for my first rip around town, and the fumes would make my eyes water.

Half tank reading on the gauge means nothing. You will not get another 170 out of the second “half” tank.

Yeah, kinda knew, cleared a couple o2 and a misfire fault. Will be draining the 15w30 for some 5w30 and a set of tr55s. After a tune up and re-tune. I will get a more accurate mpg, and post it up. I

Trade it in for a Prius. High mpg is nothing to brag about in a fun car. Jeesh.

Post a photo of your Mach. Definitely don't get focused on fuel mileage. Not with 4.10s. You need to get that bad boy in for a dyno tune. Sooner than later since you're unsure of the present tune, and the fact that you believe it's running rich.

You’ll be struggling to get oil in those heads at startup. Not good.

Considering ford went to 5w-50 in the gt500 and track pack 5.0

It's because of the 15w. You really should read up on your multi-viscosity oils lol.
