It’s actually an enclosed porch, so there is no where for people to run to the sides...

The video covers the entire entrance

As for the other entrance, it needs a gate for sure, but it caught everything I needed last night. Worked like a charm. I didn’t install the angled wedge on the second entrance because I need it to cover my main problem right now-the basketball constantly coming into my yard and hitting my house (see the other thread lol).

I bought mine few years ago with inferior pro-kit module and no angled mounting bracket option out of box.

The best time to buy ring products are Prime Day, Black Friday and Costco holiday sale promotion. Usually under 200.

I bought ring floodlight for $200 last November. Electricians cost way too much to place a hardwire where I wanted it installed. I returned it.

We will probably go with arlo when the holidays come around and they are bigly on sale.

I use the battery option on the Ring 2 so instead of mounting it to the side I can mount it right next to the door and get full face shots (STS) as they approach. Battery lasts almost 6 months and is easy to access.

You can see in the capture my doorbell on the right, the view sucks mounted there even with the included wedge.

was thinking of ditching my Ring for a Nest doorbell. 24/7 recording, better video quality, and the interface is better IMO. The only thing that keeps me with the Ring is the monthly service is much cheaper

FYI they make much larger wedges, although they can get pricey for what they are. I got a 70° wedge since my doorbell is similar to yours, it was about $50.
