Question for those with new Ford vehicles:
Background: leased a 2019 Edge with the standard Pre-Collision Assist with automatic emergency braking. Ensured it is enabled with high sensitivity.
Read the manual, watched the videos on operation.
On the freeway within 30 feet of car in front of me no warnings. Pedestrians cross in front of car while starting on green light, no warning. Roll up to stop sign at 5 mph get within 10' of stopped car, no warning.
Dealer technician claims nothing wrong with system. Ford owner support can't help, talk to dealer or take it to a different dealer.
Who has this enabled and at what distances does the warning flash if at all?
