@tones_RS3 - find a solid non-running 318 Challenger or Charger now ( 340 and big block cars are silly money ) and get busy collecting everything needed for a kick ass pro-touring beast. It takes time and money but once you find the solid car to start with you’re on your way.

Big power / pro-touring setups in old cars is the most fun IMO.

Agreed, finding a solid car is by far the hardest part. Everything else is just parts swapping.

The charger in that pic.......good golly. Take those stupid stick on fender flairs and weld/blend them into the body and holy moley that's a sexy car.

....All while blowing off the back tires

That is the magic.

Burn out wheelies!

To their defense,

The car did the burnout because it was pushing against the pop-sled that lift the front up. It also had a fake supercharger.

As for the Hellephant, how the hell do I not have a Mopar?!!!

I cannot believe they are actually going through with the name 'hellephant.' I'll give them credit for having a sense of humor.

It pays homage to the old 426 Hemi "Elephant" name.
This new Helephant is based on the Hellcat Hemi engine, so it makes sense to me.

Remember when the Hellcat was only suppose to be a limited number. Yeah I sure do and we all got to see how quickly that plan was modified.
Very true.
I bet they make/sell more. They'll probably sell out another 100 easily as well! lol

If I recall correctly the hellcat was intended to be about 1200 units per year, and the first year they had over 9000 orders.
It’d be stupid if they only made 100 units of the Hellephant. So they’ll undoubtedly make more. Then only time will tell until it’s in a production car.

Pick your poison.

Only makes sense if it's a money loser. Solution? Raise the price and people will still buy it.

I'm referring to the Hellephant engine.
They only made 100 of them and sold out every single one of them.

He was referring to how the Hellcat was supposed to be limited but FCA did the smart thing and decided to make money.

There is no point in trying to be boutique in the car industry. Build to what the market supports. An unsealed Hellephant engine selling for $150k in 25 years does not benifit FCA, car enthusiasts or the shareholders one bit.
